Why would this matter to you though? Why wouldn't you want people to find a game that they enjoy? Seriously, why does the potential for GW2 to be a success lead people to make statements like this?

Is there a wipe after beta of the characters or do you keep your character at its level?  This determines if I preorder.

PvP, I'm not doing any PVE on a character I won't get to keep.

The first PVE character is the most important one, I'm not gonna waste it.

Yeah it's gonna be a wipe, except for the headstart you get with preorder and pre-purchase (just a reminder only pre-purchase will gove you beta access, not pre-order)

It's also the only way to get the three day headstart.  I *think* pre-ordering will give people a one day headstart though.

You know, I've thought the exact same thing. 

But I know what class/race I want to play after release. So I'm going to play the things I won't be focusing on once the game releases. I dunno though, I kinda wanna be surprised :D

I might be completely off here but if you can cancel or not should be depending on from which store you buy it from, I guess it could be different rules from store to store. Also yeah pre-purchase is non-refundale.

If you're not sure I think you should wait and buy it or skip it depending on how you think it looks like after the beta, there will be no NDA next weekend
