I test played City of Steam, a new browser game last month, the graphics and sound track impressed me. Here are videos on their youtube channel, they look neat:

Looks interesting. There is a lack of steampunk theme games. I would definitely check it out.

videos look nice but how exactly does the game look?  browser  and game really do not mix well together unless you are making yet another farmville knock off or an evony 9000 clone :/ 

i'v messed around with the battle star galatica browser game but the animations showed the limitations of the eng.. so apart from the fancy videos.. how exactly is this game built? 

is it a excel spread sheet game?? or is it using something like unity3d?? or a java/flash game??

Generally speaking, this game is about saving lost civilizations in a mechanical  world. It's powered by Unity 3D and clientless. The great thing is they are making a story-driven browser game, backstories are astonishing and the world the game taks place in is beautiful. 

Omoshiroi! It has baldurs-gatish' look. How far browser games have come!

I think they won't. The gameplay in the Sneak Peek is good, it has three very personable stances - dual weapons, weapon and shiled and two-handed weapon. Here are changes will be seen in Alpha in their dev journal,  they are listening to the players.

I created several races with different classes combinations, Orc is one of my favorite choices. Pretty fun in the CG video.

Yeah, if you want to try when its alpha comes, I just want to recommend you the Orc Warder, looks cool.
