According to a post on the Guild Wars 2 Facebook page, the first round of beta invites for the end of March event have been sent out!

People too dumb to post on Twitter or FB or wherever else that they got into beta, with their real life identities readily available, should not cry when their beta invitation is revoked by ArenaNet.

Yeah I knew there was no chance of myself making it, but at least I won't get attached to a character now

But lets be realistic , its beta not stress test. Why would they need more than 10000 (even that is to much)

I will be buying the game regardless.

Although I admit it would pretty sweet getting into the beta,good luck!!.
