Problem was, they did ignore it. And trolled people for it. And, after MONTHS of being broken finally fessed up... You can't do customer service any worse. You NEVER troll complaints. That's the #1 rule of customer service.

Yes. It was one of the greatest interactive slide-shows I've ever experienced... And the teleporting and ping-ponging... I was having flashbacks to the 1970s and Star Trek reruns and Pong on the old black-and-white TV... |

Originally posted by Loekii I would find it very hard to believe that DD was actually 'clueless' to the issues of Ilium, and completely surprised by its failure. No professional at his level is actually that 'clueless' -- regardless of internet knowledge. Fans? James Ohlen trolled us and said our computers were crap! Which enabled the BioDrones to troll us... |

People on these forums think that those millions of gamers that are playing mmos that they hate are ruining their fun. Thats pretty narrow minded and immature. There is something for everybody in this genre if they'd take the time to look. |

Originally posted by dollada06 Deprecate and depreciate are not the same thing. Although deprecate can be used as a verb. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

Edit: I see how depricated is also a verb. My mistake. Very well done and great example. |

Originally posted by Jaco1101 They are different words all together, with completely different meanings... "Deprecate" means to "play down." In other words, we're going to deprecate this old facility by opening a shiny new one. You didn't completely get rid of the old facility...but you played it down by opening a shiny new facility that everyone will go to. "Depreciate" is just like dolladolla said, it's all about "value." It means to lower the estimated value or price of something. Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob? |
