That no matter how good you game is, the internet will still hate it.
I mean FFS since when did optional content mean the difference between one of the greatest games ever made and a 2.2 on metacritic?
You guys did a good job coming up with excuses for TOR and Ill give you DA2, but [Mod Edit] ME3 is right up there with Skyrim and Half-Life 2. |

I agree. I still haven't played it but I can smell trolls from a mile away.
It has become the latest trend to hate on Bioware. Just like everybody hates on Blizzard. They just don't know what the fuck they are talking about. In the other thread the guy was bitching about graphics. Of course, graphics is all that matters in an RPG?! |

I have no mercy for mental midgets who get caught up in propaganda (be it positive or negative) storms. Do some research, formulate your own opinion and selectively scope out what you will from that of others. For the love of god, just stop whining.
-edit- The ME3 situation is backlash against an undeniably unscrupulous method of business. People are free to agree or disagree. |

The only thing that really troubles me, is that the game is out for like half a day and people already reporting they finished it?? I mean.... really??! How is that possible?? This would mean that ME3 has like only 10% of the content and story length as what ME2 has, as I spend nearly two weeks on ME2 (only doing obligatory side missions) to finish the main story. |

why do you care what user reviews on metacritic say? that score has never meant anything. |

Originally posted by JeroKane To be honest you can complete ME2 really fast if you just skip all the dialogue and skip all the side quests and you rush just to finish the main storyline. There is always people who finish games in ridiculously short periods of time. I remember the first two games were faceroll if you chose easy and you can literally run past the enemies. I doubt ME3 is any shorter than ME2. It certainly can't be shorter than ME1. |

The idea that a game is (quality wise) worse because of optional content is idiotic. |

Originally posted by JeroKane It took me 18 hours to play though (started at 7am monday [used a vpn program to switch up my ip]) and I barely did any side quests. My biggest game is with the ending - totally contrived and overly depressing. The rest of the game is excellent however. |

Always mixed feelings especially when it's from a well-established company and a well-established game series. People have certain expectations that they expect are met. They want the game to be everything they love about the first one wthout the publisher selling out on things in the process of making the sequel. They want to retain that feeling that the company is still the little guy pushing out quality products and not the big huge corporation trying to milk every little dime out of devoted fans, taking advantage of their fandom. People see things like day-1 DLC, Multiplayer-required, noobifying of a game, etc.. to them being cheated out of what they waited so patiently for. |

Im enjoying the game but I can notice the noticeable downplay of the conversation choices Now I can just sit back and watch shepard talk his own stuff, calling for my opinion occasionally "Some of the less objective people tend to be close-minded though and basically disregard any possible shortcomings that gw2 could have." |

Huh, funny how that works. I guess that's why it's called discussion and opinion.

My only complaint is that the skins look overdone. Like they have too much of everything on them...that and the fact characters faces look like made from sacks of potatoes.
But then again, thats why I preferred Oblivions graphics to skyrims...Sometimes less is more.
