What ad? I've never seen it.

It's one of the little square ones randomly chosen on the left of every page (so long as you don't have ad blocker on, which you shouldn't here )

Yeah....they are getting kind of ridiculous.  I ran across this thread in mmorpg.com while trying to find a photo to report to google.  This was on the DDO wiki page.  They are so bad I can't even safely surf gaming sites anymore without people looking over my shoulder thinking I am some kind of anime porn pervert.

In all honesty, this really doesn't look any worse than an undewear ad I'd see on some billboard. :)

The Roman Orgy bit is a bit weird, though! In any case, I'll bring it up, but no promises.

Yeah the picture is a little risque, but not over the top or anything.  I also have seen other advertisements with as much skin or more.  It was the "Roman Orgy!" that put me off.  I can just picture my daughter now looking over my shoulder and saying "Dad, what's a 'Roman Orgy'?"

I thought Amish Mennonites weren't permitted to use the internet.

There are a couple of them that are like it.  I get that sex sells, and in the end they just want you to click on their ad no matter what.  I like gaming websites to be about games, and would hope that their ads are also focused on games.  If you really want to see naked chicks talking about Roman Orgys, well, you are on the internet after all.  I bet there's a site for that ; )

These ads don't bother me at all. They seem so standard and generic. Scantily clad women are in some ways a common feature of fantasy gaming. I don't see a problem.

I think some of them are a little too over the top. The Age of Conan one in particular, basically saying play the game and be a naked woman. Which sure it's definately an option but still when that is the advertising point of your game then obviously you went wrong somewhere.

It looks like Victoria 3 from DAZ.  For a few years she was a standard female model in low to mid CG work.

Now that you mention it, I can see the similarity.

Yeah, I will contact the network about getting this shut off.  While I don't see any problem with the imagery, I think the "roman orgy" part is not very acceptable.
