Yeah, looks like the "usual reaction" might apply to this comic like all the others they tried..

When I look at the cover all I can think of is, "death by 'kindness'". None of the characters or weapons look a bit dangerous.

Loki isn´t really evil, he just like pulling pranks. You know, cutting of Thors wifes beutiful hair and stuff like this. In the Norse tales Loki is usually the guy who figures out a way to fix thing (even though he himself often created the mess).

Also, anyone knowing their norse mythology know that Loki is actually a fire god (that is why he even eat the table when he gets challenged to an eating contest). And yes, he is a trickster as well.

Yeah, I am an actual Norse pagan. :) Still, it is not like I get offended or anything and at least the drawings are pretty good.

There have been a lot of mangas based on Norse mythology, one even had Loki as the hero.

well, from the looks of it the story is "loosely based" on Norse mythology. Like you said, the art is well drawn, so it will be interesting to see how the story progresses next week.

sounds like you do know a lot about Norse tales, haha! wonder what else you will point out.  ya, i don't think it's necessary to get offended, so much stuff is (super) "loosely based" on myths and other stories. 

The art does look nice. I actually like that it's original and not trying to directly follow Norse lore. Gotta have creative freedom right?
