I'm excited for these 3 games as much as the next guy but there are a few problems with your claim.

1. it wont destroy WoW b/c most of the sub are in China. 2. It will destroy Swtor. 800k sub by March, 300k when all 3 launched. |

Originally posted by Sorrow I hope you aren't representing the majority of gamers. Cause if you are, imagine how that makes us poor greeks feel like. I just hope that GW2 releases at least a month away from TSW cause i want to play both. Edit: And yeah, who cares about wow... let the people that still enjoy it have their fun. |

Originally posted by Hikaruu You really do not know the WoW playerbase all that well obviously. You just listed 3 games with no instanced raiding content at all and one is B2P, so there is not to much of a reason to drop the WoW sub.
If anything that would make it 10's easier for Blizzard to plan. The reason WoW is taking these hits is because of how these staggered launches are coming one after another.

Originally posted by Bigdaddyx Like always players will try the game and go back playing WOW like they always do. Really they lost close to 2 million players in the last year and have yet to post a gain in subs. Either people are taking there sweet time going back or this logical fallacy is finally being proven wrong.
Sorry to knock you off that high horse, but more then a few WoW players who came to Rift are never going back. Trion is like Morpheus of the mmorpg realm freeing one mind at a time from the matrix. |

Originally posted by Puremallace Yeah you are the one to talk about logical fallacies. Trion is like Morpheous, freeing one mind at a time and losing servers in process. lol |

Originally posted by Bigdaddyx Not so sure of that. Yeah you'll get some that return but I see more that don't return at all. We had a guild of about 80 players from about 7 years ago. By the time I quit a year ago it was down to me and one other out of the original 80. |

Judging from the fact that new games like SWTOR are growing rapidly while old ones like WoW are not declining as fast, I'd say the overall mmo playerbase is expanding. New games are drawing in new players more effectively than they are stealing from old ones. The "killing" may never really happen. WoW did not kill EQ, Lineage etc, it outperformed them. Same may happen again. |

Originally posted by Bigdaddyx Hey as long as people do not go back to WoW. I laugh at people who leave Rift then go back to WoW and cry for stuf fthey had and get completely ignored.
Just like the ones who left for TOR and are not man enough to admit they screwed up by leaving. Now they sit on the TOR forums making the community toxic crying for stuff they used to have and can not explain why Bioware is not Trion.
The simple fact is WoW is dying and no matter what Blizz throws at the playerbase to trick then into subbing it is going down. The genre has been completely stagnated for 7 years. It will be a glorious day when the WoW playerbase does not dictate every move a dev makes. |

Why ppl are so focused on killing wow. I want just different mmorpgs for everyone s playstyle like in pre 2004 era. You had daoc ,eq,lineage,uo ,ac and shadowbane and not a single one was like the other and today all feel the same. |

If you want to cripple those 3 games Yeah go ahead
Unless everyone have tons of money to buy the 3 on day one their profit won't be maximized "Some of the less objective people tend to be close-minded though and basically disregard any possible shortcomings that gw2 could have." |
