I don't know if anyone here came across this video but here it is anyway. I remember actually seeing the sight with the malware. I didn't download it though because I figured it would be a problematic experience seeing as though it was already advertise to be an "invitation only" beta and if this is allowing me to download then its either illegal or something. Just thought I would share incase someone already downloaded this or may run into it at some point. Here is the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbL2lheIojU
Edit: I placed the link back because I don't see the reason not to have it up. If it's wrong to have the link just report it it's cool. Just note my intentions were good :-) Laters~ |

While I appreciate the community aspect purpose of a thread like this, I have always seen these types of scams as the digital version of evolution. We have to wean out the weak and perpetually baffled somehow. ----- |

argh lol, sorry at OP. I thought you posted a faulty link which contained other links. My fault, sorry again. Edit:why I thought it was fault is, because of the little cut when he speaks in the beginning after his first sentences. |

sadly with such warning there will always be some gullible folks which are new to the internet/gaming world who will fall for a scam, but that will provide them with a lesson on trust and caution incase they decide to fall victim again. the video you provided has 2,600+ views so you would have to agree it has possibly prevented at least 1 person from being scammed? |

Thanks for clearing up the link situation, I was a bit baffled lol. When I ran into this video I was like "oh crap I've been to that site!". So glad I was skeptical and didn't download anything. I knew many people that got hacked sure to key loggers.
Another thing I wonder about is how ANet will handle the ones responsible for sites like these, you know, gold Sellers. Ncsoft failed at this in aion I forgot exactly how they did it but I remember people getting temp band for associating with those who had dealings with sites like this. For those who don't know, here is what I think happens; they lore those with less patience and fast pockets to buy from them. Then send them fishing emails, to obtain their info. Other sites I've heard like curse..com also has potential downloadable threats such as loggers. Once you start messing around with these folks they basically hack/sell accounts. beware they're out to get anyone!
Sorry if I have incoherent wording, I'm typing on my phone lol.
