I started playing as a sorc for about 10 or so levels and then tried out the mystic, felt weaker at first but after a few levels my buddy and I were killing our "herds" at the same speed more or less, actually mystic being a bit faster at times.. Also I (playing as mystic) had a heal, blink, and a summon (btw that tank summon sure is annoying to listen to eh?) I would like to get some feedback from high level sorcs.. do they get better later? I had my heart set on sorc before I played but now I am 100% playing mystic if I don't get some new info to change my mind. Thank you :)

I have played most of the clases till 30+ and imo at low levels the Mystic is the best one, the output dmg is very close to sorc. if not better for example, but once you hit level 25+ the Mystic dmg will be subpar compared to other clases, so i can tell you that is not better if you are looking for a damage dealer.

Not to mention what people will expect of you on a mystic toon, if you ever join groups. Going with an; Im here to depeesss is probably not gonna be met with much understanding. Chose, imo, the class that fits what you ultimately wish to be doing with that toon. Not the class who seem to level faster or better or whatever. If you play a sorc because you want to be a dps toon then you made the right choice. If you chose a mystic because you want a dps toon, you will completely miss the mark once you get past the first three areas, and you will regret your choice when other players expect your focus to be on support and heals and not your paltry nuke and dot.
