I played Cabal and Aika even though games are good I didn't like the combat system. Its basic nothing inspiring at all. Don't like the skills either, and doesn't have a lot of choice to begin with. I liked Vindictus, combat is great skills are good. But you only get handful of skills, and nothing to do end game. Perfect world has great combat system and skills but crappy game.
Can somebody suggest any good F2Ps with good combat system and skills.
Thx :) |

DCUO has true action based combat with combos and a good skill system. Plus you can hot swap between DPS and whatever support role your power is. I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play. |

Try Vindictus or Age of Conan. |

Hey Kuriouz! I just wanted to first say that I'm glad you gave Aika a try. I can see what you're saying and certainly understand, but I thought it might be helpful to just throw some thoughts your way to perhaps alter your viewpoint, about Aika at least. The main thing is to understand clearly what Aika is, first and foremost. Aika is a PvP game built around tension between nations. Now, that being said, the combat is built in a standard way so that plenty of players can pick up the controls and get into the mud with the other players without having to worry as much about figuring out how to move left and right and how to swing the sword. Also, one more thing that can make combat more interesting for you is what's at stake. Fighting for relics, earning bigger, better buffs for your nation and fighting on a team-vs-team level versus just an individual-vs-individual level can be extremely gratifying. Finally, if you speak with some of the more advanced players, you can and will find that there are some advanced techniques and nuances to putting together certain skills, combining skills with movement and different timing techniques different top players enjoy employing. I hope that was helpful for you! :)
Edit: Also, in terms of end-game content, we strive to have new raids and content available for players at all times. That being said, the real meat of the end game is working with your nation to trounce the others. This is one of the few games where it's all about mass coordination with you, your friends and the rest of the players in your nation to raid the others and beat them into the ground while rising to the top and being max level and gearing up for that makes that some of the best end-game content you're like to find. |

APB has good combat, but no skills to really consider... beyond ranking up in weapons and petty crimes. Um, Rusty Hearts is pretty fun as a smash-em-up, like Dungeon Fighter, kinda, but they all have that feel of beating rooms and moving on, then repeating it on harder difficulties... ala Vindictus. When a game comes out with that kind of combat and a Metroidvania method of world exploration, you jerks be sure to call me. Hm hm hm.... Good Combat and skills you say? Did you try Vindictus's "Sequel" Mabinogi? The combat is twitchy, and there are A LOT of skills...A LOT, Magic, Ranged, Melee and Alchemic. The graphics aren't pleasing (some would say) but I find them quite nice. Not much to really get into with it...It is really easy to go from 1-100, the game allows new characters to rebirth every day (resets level/exp, but you keep all the Ability Points/skill ranks you have earned) until 100, then you can reset for free every 3 weeks after (or pay for character cards to Rebirth every week after) Other than that, games with good combat and skills....Grand Chase/Elsword come to mind also, they are 2d beat em ups with a healthy amount of skills (Especially Grand Chases Demon characters) The combat is a classic Press Z (or something of the like) to attack, but in Elsword there are many combos and in Grand Chase the main rush from combat comes from PvP. La Tale MAY also fit what you need, 2D, and similar to Maplestory but I found the combat more entertaining. Liked Mabinogi's combat, but not the game? Try Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine. Similar combat, but the skill system is really, really extensive. If you have ever played the Game series as well, I suggest you try it. That is all I have currently (well that and Dragons Nest/Dragon Saga) and I wish you luck in your endeavors. Per...So...Na... |
