Ive been noticing over the last week or 2 that many sites that stream content such as tv shows and movies have been shutting down one by one. Also with the ones that are left, they have really stepped up removing anything they even looks like copyright material. Anyone else noticing this? |

From another end yes. Many of the filesharing sites, filesonic, upload etc have either shut down completely or restricted to where only your account can download files that you uploaded. Another blow was the closure of btjunkie.org sometime today. Though completely voluntary |

think the op is mistaken. its not SOPA that are making these sites shutdown/reformat. its the arrest of the people who ran megauploads. theres already laws on the books that allow for the us government to seize/close/prosecute domains/applications and their owners.
they are shitting their pants on what happened to the ceo and other executives. think someone posted a picture not to long ago that says it all, rape a women, get 20 years, mess with big media, get 50.
