A little poem I wrote back during my goth phase.. hope you like it.
The Darkness Parts..
In a time afore Teppish,
when mountains were young,
came first of all Vampyre,
legend was sung.
His mother was Eve.
His father the Snake.
Betrayer of Love,
and liar didst mate.
True only God can make a life,
yet any fool may sire strife.
And so it came undead be borne,
mortals passion, deadly thorn.
To cruel in kindness,
to live 'mongst men.
Yet, kind in cruelness,
claim demon as kin.
So to find oneself alone,
No sheltering to call thy own.
Entombed within this darkened place,
his life, his world stood empty faced.
Despair didst steal the Angel Joy,
fang to flesh winged bitch his toy.
And borne in Joy bled forth came Sorrow,
in forced love her heart lay fallow.
Set her free gave her free will,
and at his side she didst kneel.
For in this act of true compassion,
her love came forth in fiery fashion.
So he took her to his life,
wedded her made her his wife.
Together bore the damned and doomed,
those who hunt in darkest gloom.
Thru endless age this love did last,
to end one day in sun's bright blast.
So old bones now lie as ash,
my tale of vamps be done at last.
or is it?
