There are over 30. Okay. I am working pretty hard to create a sandbox game with more sand than every previous game but also a framework that all of the sand can work with. The overarching goal of the game is to not be overrun by the monsters pouring into the planar worlds. Within that context one is free to do many many things. I want to ask players for a general conception of their ideal grains of sand. I would like to include any features that people would enjoy so long as those features do not conflict with previous framework features. This is to avoid a feature bloat where many features and confusing and conflict with others. You can be as general or specific as you like. Have a problem with current themepark games? How would you like to see it resolved? Wish that ostensibly sandbox games had more freedom? Where? I was recently pointed to GW2 as a game with similar goals to mine, especially in the PvE aspect with their dynamic events which cause persistent world changes. I don't think they go far enough but perhaps if GW2 is well received the industry will be more open to pushing the limits again. So feel free to discuss the sandbox elements of games like GW2 and Archeage and Wurm and ATITD and what you liked and disliked. There are a lot of sandbox fans here who have problems with the current direction of the genre. What have you got to say? Remember that in this particular case my game will not have PvP. But feel free to discuss PvP stuff also.
