Everytime i play the game, I'm not getting bored!  Why?  I want to be cool like everyone and hate and laugh about this game.  I can't :(

I pick up all side quests i can.  If i'm in my ship, i do a couple space mission.  Every hour or so, i'll queue for a warzone.

I send my companions on missions, have them craft.  Sell some, reverse engineer some... Some flashpoints with my guildies.  Progress in my class story.

And i'm only 31!!  Been playing since Pre-release.

When am I going to get bored?

When you don't buy the game, and claim to have.

I have 17 days to go.

I promised myself I will get one char to lvl50 before the included time ends and I'm almost there. The problem is, I feel like I'm having a second job. It's the feeling of treadmill, the longest run.

I'm in a state, where I skip all videos on sidequests. I've heard them all, only thing that changes is the name of the kill X target. It's like I'm trapped to Ground Hog Day.

Warfronts. Horrible. Why? Because it's like I'm trekking through a swamp. The character moves so slowly, there's hardly any feeling of active combat I've gotten used to in other MMOs and FPS games.

I think I wouldn't feel like this if I was a huge Star Wars fan, but I'm not. I've seen the movies and don't think they're spectacular. I think they're a mediocre love/adventure story in space, sorry all true fans.

But, although I don't know you, I'm glad you are having fun. To me, I don't see subscription past included period.

The highlighted bit is where you've gone wrong, if you ask  me. If you make it into a job its going to feel like a job.

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this.

I had to do that promise to myself, because I was going to quit once I got to around lvl10.

I've had moments with the game, but they've been far and between.

I have a dog who likes to lick herself, grab one of her toys, and roll on top of it.  It seems to make her the happiest dog in the world.   I have decided that as a dog she is easily entertained.

Ahem....I had a point there.  Forgot it.  Anyways enjoy playing Swtor!

The sense I'm trying to make here is

a) I paid 45€ for this game, if I had quit at lvl10ish it would've been 20€ per hour hit. Didn't want that, but wanted to know if that wow feeling is ahead (not WoW the Game -feeling).

b) I wanted to make sure I wasn't making a hasty decision on wrong grounds.

c) I'm weird like that, I need to get that one char to 50. It's a task I have to finish.

You'll most likely get bored of such a game as TOR when your balls drop and you stop talking with a squeaky voice.

You made perfect sense the first time, some people just can't handle the cognitive dissonance that occurs when they read the opinions of others.

I think people hate this game as much as they do because a lot of people really enjoyed KOTOR, really enjoy the majority of what BioWare produces, and really enjoy the Star Wars lore.  What could go wrong? Then we end up getting Warhammer Online with lightsabers.

Star Wars Galaxies was canceled.  The game has the KOTOR name attached to it.  This means that this game is going to be the ONLY online Star Wars MMO AND the only single player Star Wars RPG that we'll see in the next five, ten years.  Alot of people expected better, and to think that THIS game is going to be the defining Star Wars experience for a long time to come has to be quite disappointing.

But SWG from day 1 to final day was worst than Swtor.

Atleast WAR gave you something to do semi worthwhile at endgame.
