 Yes other peope were faster than me ^^. As they said you can get really a lot with having money. Armors & weapons, minipets, heroes armors and even consumable titles (or pvp title for using zaishen keys). Ah, and some of the things, for example opressor weapon you can get by yourself just by playing War of Kryta quest series.

Does this mean a Spring release is possible?!

True enough, you get 7 of the 10 medals needed for the Opressor Weapon just from the quest rewards, and are pretty much guaranteed the last 3 with the supplies you earn from the earlier part of the quests.

Or you can get them by exchanging confessours orders for war supplies and then for war medals. Also you can do Herats of the north quest series for additionals 8 medals :)

Tera coming out May hopefully they will come out same time so I dont have to waste my time on Tera.

Possibly late spring, but I wouldn't doubt a summer release. If they are in the planning stages of an open beta, the earliest we might see it opening is a month. That's if they plan it out and nothing else goes wrong.

My guess is that an open beta would be more of a stress test to see if the servers can handle the loads, and to see how content actually works vs. a mob of actual players.

The game looks like it's working well from the videos we've seen, as well as the comments that their closed beta is going well. However, you can never account for the masses, they have ways of twisting game systems in ways developers could never think of.

Regardless, this is extremely exciting news.

Can't you keep acumulating HOM points past launch? As long as your account was made before the launch of GW2 you can keep playing 1 and getting points that'll carry over to two.

Ahh now that's poppin but back to stying humble can't wait for the actual date, hard enjoying any MMOs period since my exxperience last year at PAX.

damn right ;) i know were all dying for this game because every time i check the mmo forums its always the same cool people waiting for guild wars 2 hehe ;) i love you guys and im happy for sharing this long as wait with you all :P although it will be going on a little longer

Well, they did say they would have a short closed beta if everything goes according to plan.  Guess the plan is going accordingly. :D  Please OB, start in Feb.

7/50 HoM here - and I'm having fun taking my time gaining more points. I left GW to go back to WoW shortly after the Factions box was released. I really wish I had stuck with GW instead, but hindsight is 20/20. (Let me just add that WoW gave me that first "OMG - open world! moment, despite having played UA.) I'm just settling back in after finishing the Prophecies and EoTN campaign on a brand new character. I'm starting with the Factions campaigns now (after all this time), reaquainting myself with the Kaineng Center.

This is the first MMO in a great while that has sparked my interest.

I just hope that the game doesn't get "overhyped" to saturation levels. I'll also be keen to see objective open beta reviews. The game looks fantastic based on the PAX and other convention coverage and footage we've seen, but I can't wait for the necessary vetting open beta reviews will provide.  I just hope that the GW community can stay objective in the face of any criticism. It's kind of painful to see how another recent AAA title was promoted and marketed to the hilt as the next coming, and the subsequent meltdown of that community in the face of what turned out to be valid objective criticisms after its release.

GW was and is great for its time, but it has its flaws. (Mainly the fact that it isn't an MMORPG!) I can't wait to experience the CORPG I love in an MMORPG environment. (And obtain another 23 HoM points!)
