...and I love SWTOR. Bioware did a good job with this carebear game. I don't even mind doing the quest in between warzones. Bioware has lived up to it legacy. PS: So many bad threads (mostly because of queue) that I figured I would make a good one. In a few days when Bioware's launch plans are complete things should look better. The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. When will developers (and players) become sane? Now go eat some grass like everyone else. |

Hehe, aye. I too prefer harsher games with more player influence. EVE has always been my first love in this sense ... but SWTOR ... simply is a brilliant game; a themepark, yes, but a very rich and entertaining one. And quite a challenge too; I still have lots to learn to become really effective in pvp; rethinking tactics, rotations and keboard layouts all the time. Combat is much faster paced than I expected and the warzones are much more entertaining than I thought too. Next to that I'm having a blast crafting, doing flashpoints, the worlds and voice overs are amazing, etc, etc. I'm completely sold on Swtor. It only managed to exceed my expectations so far. |

The shiny new car smell wears off in a few days.
Its a decent solo rpg with a bit of group content tacked on to justify a monthly bill. |

I love hardcore full loot pvp like Darkfall online(Although it has many glaring problems hence I am here.) and I think this game is cookie cutter with some single player rpg elements tacked on. Nothing innovative or new is in this game and we have been seeing games such as Aoc and Dcuo that actually bring new things to the table flop (mostly because lack of content/bugs). I think this game like the others has its new game excitement wear off the numbers will decline and it will go on a steady downward pace. That is unless bioware listens to the non fanbois and puts in the things the vetern mmo players have been asking from every mmo. I played the beta and became very bored with it, but since my guild is playing(they always make games more fun) and there is nothing out there currently I most likely will play the game for a bit much like I played Dcuo. I believe this game will go F2p much like ABP/DCUO/AOC because people are tired of the same game in a different format. MurderHerd |

If it contains the words video and game, it must be a WOW clone. |
