I will probably try Dark and Light, mainly because of the large world which will hopefully lead to a large community. Thats the only game in development im following closely. |

MMO''s played: EQ2, SWG, Ryzom, Project Entropia, EVE, DAOC, Lineage 2. Waiting for: Roma Victor |
FoM, DnL or Roma Victor... all three seems VERY promising, mostly Roma Victor |

WoW (EU) I've participated in the open beta and had a fantastic time. Haven't enjoyed an MMORPG so much since my first, which was AO. IMO it's a breath of fresh air. Granted, it's not that innovative but then again it never claimed it was going to be and, after all, oxygen IS oxygen! |

"Don''t worry. I don''t have low self-esteem. It''s a mistake. I have low esteem for everyone else" |
DnL based on a number of features that appeal to me. None of these features by themselves are innovative i.e. EQ possessed the land-mass (more in the form of content), DAoC the realm vs realm PvP, Horizons and SWG possessed good crafting systems and a number of games have tried to implement player run economies. So why should I (or anyone else) be interested in DnL, or any other MMOG for that matter? As Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn once said, "Art is not a question of what, but of how". The proposed features in DnL appear to be woven into the world and will have an effect on gameplay, rather than being thrown in because players demand x feature - even though the feature has minimal to no effect on gameplay. Playing devil's advocate, where have we heard this before? Yep, Horizons. Due to a number of well publicised MMOG cancellations or slow deaths, there are large numbers of players who either have been burned and/or disappointed. Whilst I admit, that I am excited about DnL's potential, I'll reserve my judgement until beta ends and we can base our expectations on a few, hard and fast facts. DnL is in closed beta and DNA applies. Thus, can we stop with comparing DnL against released games? We need to be comparing like for like, where we are in possession of the facts. Most of what I hear is conjecture and froth. For the record, I am leaning towards emerging from MMOG retirement to play DnL - unless it looks like being another Horizons. Regards, |

1. dark and light 2. beyond blitzkrieg 3. pirates of the burning sea
i think dark and light looks quiet promise and i love the concept of a huge world without lots of loading zones, im definately will try out the game if i dont get beta access. beyond blitzkrieg is still one of the best mmofps out there and with the new features im sure this game will rock even more, i love the game concept pirates of the burning sea sounds interesting, would like to see to be my own captain to controll a nice pirate ship, entering the sea to fight in battles. |

Well I Will certainly get City of Villians, and Pirates of the Burning Sea. I will probably try Auto Assault and Mourning. I used to watch DnL But the graphics have turned me off, If i hear awesome things about it I might give it a shot. Roma Victor Is really interesting to me but Not sure if the FUN Factor will be in game. I recently went back to WWIIOL after a 2 yrs break and I still have computer problems with the game so if I can get these worked out I will try the new expansion. City of Heroes is fun for sure but Content and depth is what is needed. Hopefully City of Villians will help with this as well as the Updates. As for PotBS, I am a 18th Cent Naval junkie. I love the age of sail. Main thing that could turn me from it is the feel of the game not meeting my expectations and a poor player community.

So far, Guild Wars because it's the closest thing to Phantasy Star Online in the PC market and PSO will always have a special place in my heart. D&D online because they do seem to be innovating a little bit and making the game more arcadey and Zelda like. Other than that I don't plan on BUYING any other games. I will be TRYING all the games that give a free trial, Eve, Ryzom, A Tale In the Desert, etc. Yeah, I've already tried ATITD but I think I might give it another try.
