I see some have suggested Runes of Magic. I would stay away from that game at all costs. That game is the biggest cash-grab pay-to-win game on the market, hands down. |

Originally posted by Riverleaf_B Well the obvious EQ2,but i am waiting for ArcheAge,i can't support Smedley anymore,he is too crooked. I think you should also look at meaningful crafting/housing and mounts.I think AA "might" do a decent job in those areas. ArcheAge is in it's final 4th closed BEta,it lasts 80 days, then probably an open beta and thta is for Korea.../sigh.I think AA won't hit NA shores until at least mid of next year .../sigh.So idk maybe go play on the free EQ2x server [Freeport] until you see something better. http://www.youtube.com/user/Napolianboo#p/u/15/rCYLLQCNc1w |

Originally posted by Benedikt You don't HAVE to buy from the cash shop in RoM, you're right, but if you want to be at all competitive and keep up with all the kids with mommy's credit card, you pretty much have to. Also, RoM is the absolute worst with gold-sellers. All I saw in chat was bots spamming gold for sale or just regular people talking about needing to buy more gold to get something.
But lets not derail the thread. Honestly, someone suggested EQ2 for you and I might have to agree. ArchAge is going to blow EQ2 out of the water when it hits North America, but for now it is probably your best bet. |

Ok,I'll have a look at EverQuest 2. Vanguard has a free trial, but it isn't really free. Alright,I will avoid Runes of Magic,if you advise it. I'll pass on Istaria, because I couldn't see what their classes or races were. |

Keep your eye on Archeage online! "It would be awesome if you could duel your companion. Then you could solo pvp".--Thanes |

Ultima Online (if graphics doesn't bother you and you want a sandbox) and EverQuest 2 (if you want a themepark). Ultima arguably has the best mount and housing system of all, and it's crafting is up there too. |

for now, i think Vanguard has the best one of all very very vast crafting, best housing, and mounts too
VG all the way So What Now? |

I had a look at Everquest 2. Could EQ2 be simply downloaded to my computer? Will the game let me start gameplay as a female human paladin? What does a female froglok look like? |

Since he said 'riding mounts including inside' the games mentioned in here would not fit because they go 'poof' when trying to enter a building or it just wont let you summon it.
Only MMORPG that fits all those is Darkfall and its also the only one that has mounted combat as well. NEWS FLASH! A bank was robbed the other day and a man opened fire on the customers being held hostage. One customer zig-zag sprinted until he found cover. When questioned later he explained that he was a hardcore Darkfall Online player and knew just what to do. |

Originally posted by xDayx Oh yeah I almost forgot about that one. I never played it long enough to get a mount so I never tested riding it into a dungeon. NEWS FLASH! Originally posted by Riverleaf_B well, if you want to play f2p, then races are really simple - you can play only human as for classes - it has "schools" - a lots of them, and you can take and level them all with single char (tho i would not advice that :) ) |
