i have verizon fios and it took me 3 hours to download the entire 20gb today. Currently Playing: SSFIV AE, SFxTekken, SWTOR, WoW. Waiting for: GW2, Resident Evil 6. |

Fun fact - im living in Germany, the whole download took me 6 hours to complete. Fun fact - im using Vodafone. Fun fact - TMobile is willing to pay me 120 euros if i switch to them, and they offer me speed which is twice as fast. Fun fact - Free CE edition + twice as faster internet for one call. Im one happy customer. :))  |

Really complaining about getting into Beta when the game comes out soon, sit back and relax and wait for the game. I got into the Beta but couldn't play it b/c of where I am right now. You don't see me trolling the sites complaining about it. Just got to sit back and relax and wait until I can play it. |

Part of your confusion is kb bs KB (bits bs bytes).
If you are downloading at 120 kilobits yeah good luck with playing the game even. I suspect you entered bits (little b) into the calculator. There are 8 bits in a byte. If you are downloading at 120 KILO BYTES (big B, this is how the launcher reports speed btw) then it should only take a couple days. My speed is a little over double yours and it takes me about a day each build. A common misconception. Trust me if you are downloading at 120 kilobits then you wouldn't be able to play MMOs at all. My download is flying at 1.85 mbs, the only thing that blows is they are doing a staggered entry for the beta weekend. Some people will play Friday- other will start Sat- and some other will only get to play sunday. It all depends on how fast you RSVP to the email. Mine took 6 hours for the RSVP button to actaully work so who know when I will be in lol. |
