I just went onto the EQ2 forums for the first time in a few years and I was shocked to see that all of the specific server forums were gone, class forums gone, etc etc. Everything was consolidated into a few specific forums. What a MESS! I remember when they did that to DC Universe with a lot of backlash, but to EQ2 where there are even more servers, classes, guilds, etc to deal with? Want to find info and discussion on your class? Forget the convenient times when you could just go to the Warlock specific area. Here you go, now you have to wade through the thousands of posts of every single class in this one: Spells, Abilities, and General Class Discussion Want to find an awesome guild on your server? Well forget an easy way to find guilds recruting on your server, dumpster dive through this forum and see if you can first find one that's on your server, then find out if it's a good fit for you. |

Official forums for eq2 have always been terrible.
There is a reason that eq2flames (the unofficial forums) has 32 thousand members. "I’d rather work on something with great potential than on fulfilling a promise of mediocrity." |

I'd like to see server forums... once they decide how many servers they'd like to have.
