Don't let a win get to your head, Don't let a loss get to your heart |
I remember by far the greatest game I played was shadowbane. I played it for years. Every game I try now lasts fewer than hours, although I've been playing Runes of Magic for a few weeks now.. It just doesnt do it for me. I loved shadowbane. Get to level 20, throw me to the wolves and find a guild. Great community. Open PvP world . The class customization and so many options of race and profession is what grew me in so greatly though. Is there anything even close to this out anymore? Thank you in advance |

You can't really know if you like a game by playing it less than 1 hours.. And if you like Shadowbane that much, just keep playing it ? |

your search will continue for along time, all the new AAA MMOs are pve based games with the same syle of combat and a bunch of instanced PvP wich is very sad in my opinion.... |

Market is lacking in this kind of game =/
Some games go ahead with open world pvp but fail at it anyway because they were clearly not designed for that, so you get a situation where either everybody tries to avoid it even on the pvp servers, or a server just becomes the one good class at open pvp and nobody else plays.
I also miss shadowbane, it worked (despite its problems with player cities/ sieging), and it had some of the best lore and backstory for an mmo ive ever read as well.
