Originally posted by Aori I'm not advocating it, but that is not going to be a problem. People can play WoW offline if they want to. Ubisoft did always-on internet connection for Assassin's Creed 2 and it didn't stop it from being pirated. As usual DRM efforts usually affect legal purchaers more than people who pirate. In fact I bet there will be people who buy the game AND download a hack to make it playable offline. |

I think thats almost a given. Many former Diablo players have stated they will pirate the game, cause of no offline mode, lan and the RMAH. All online requirement will do for your game is pissing loyal buyers so they might pirate it, if they really would have liked it otherwise, paradox isn't it? |

Sorry OP, but this is a poorly designed poll... Where is the option for "I like most of the stuff about the game, but I don't like things like RMT, no mods, no online play?" You go right from "I love everything about the game" to "I hate everything about the game." And then your other two options are just silly. Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob? |

Originally posted by DerWotan It would be a paradox if the always-on internet was really about preventing piracy, but I don't think it is. I think its just about marketing (collecting info about the play habits of your product is always valuable) and making sure everyone who plays be able to participate in the marketplace because thats money for Blizz. |

great reply and I fully agree thats why its so laughable how Wilson is trying to defend it by using stuid stuff such as "buy better internet, today everyone has internet" and what not. The whole always online thing is only about collecting data, then create a profile and sell it why the customer has no say and no rights. |

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results. |

Well I am not going to boycott it, I am just not going to buy it. I could care less if other folks will buy it that's on them. We really needed an option of I not going to buy this. |

Originally posted by zethcarn But those things only impact online play. And if you play online then you are connected to Blizz's service and they can control that. To make it mandatory for all players regardless of if they are playing offline or not can only be to gather data and encourage the offline players to browse the store. |

Other. I liked the first two and will wait for the reviews, gameplay footage, and player feedback before purchasing. I don't plan to play the multiplayer at all. Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1. |

So your only poll option for someone that's not going to play is HATING AND BOYCOTTING, so i guess i hate and boycott (even tho i don't, i just don't care about diablos, never liked hack 'n slash games) Currently playing: FTB Ultimate Waiting for: Wildstar, ArcheAge, Class4. Dead and Buried: GW2, SWTOR, Darkfall, AO, AC2, Vanguard, CoH/V, EnB, EVE, Neocron, FE, EQ, EQ2, DAoC, FFXI, SWG, WoW, and billions of eastern junks! |

I'll probably not buy it at release if it's out this year, there's just too many other games coming out that i'm more interested in. Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them. |

Don't know much about it. Nothing I've heard so far catches my interest.
This isn't hate. It's more like being told that some new vampire movie is out and asking if I'm interested. Meh, no not really. |

Need more options. Im not bothered about it at all, so I wont be playing it. But I dont hate it. I just prefer other types of games.
