being able to pull off their goals is going to be tough. So many other games have tried to and failed. Will be interesting to see how they do |

looks cool, but who cares at this point. This probably wont be out for another 4 or 5 years. We saw SWTOR 3 yrs ago and E3 and still not out. We saw Guild War 2 about the same tme and still not out. Warhammer 40k MMO last year at E3 (and this year) and that won't be for for another 2 yrs.
So, at this point...WHO GIVES A CRAP! |

I'm excited for this game, it seems different. I'm glad they kept it under wraps until it was far along in development, I wish more dev's did this. |

All we saw was a CGI video. Personally I dont believe we can take anything from a CGI video and say its going to be a good game. I mean look at all the Blizzard CGI's they are stunning. The only thing they do is protray characters not gameplay. Personally I would love to watch full lengh warcraft CGI movies. Im not going to read much into this until we start seeing actual gameplay demos. |

There are articles by others who have played it who came to the conclusion that it's a long way off from being a fully playable, good MMO. For example the different directions you can branch yuor character off ie explorer, scientist etc are all pretty meaningless as things stand. Meaning that there is very very little diversity on the game.
Not one i'm going to get my hopes up for but hey, i guess it's still early. Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them. |

I don't care if we have to wait 2 or even 3 more years for this to launch. I like the premise and I like the art of the game. I only wish they would add more planets and personal or team spaceships. :) ![]() |

Actually they showed in-game footage as stated in the article. If you are curious here is the link for WildStar's gameplay footage. "Never pay more than 20 bucks for a computer game."-Guybrush Threepwood |

I would not mind if they turned that cgi into a series, top notch job. As for the game, who knows? "Train by day, Joe Rogan podcast by night, all day!" |

How is CGI showing any "Combat in WildStar was shown quite a bit and it's a system they call momentum. The idea is that you can gain better rewards the faster you kill things. You can also interact with the surroundings in a very pleasant way; we were shown how the player dodged a cascading avalanche, so there's quite a bit of flexibility in your character’s movements and actions."
Were they talking about a video shown to them? How much WoW could a WoWhater hate, if a WoWhater could hate WoW? |

To the caterpillar it is the end of the world. To the master, it is a butterfly. |

I was under the impression Carbine studios was releasing a sandbox.
While I dont thik this is it, I love the art style and the setting. It looks cute, and actiony at the same time. Not anime cute, but Disney/Pixar cute To the caterpillar it is the end of the world, to the master, it is a butterfly. |

I agree with the poster above. Definitely doesnt appear to be a sandboxish style game, but could be fun. Wasn't that impressed with the in-game footage, but hey its probably early early alpha so nbd. |

I liked the look and feel of the game. Less serious than the host of games that have come out or are coming out in the near future. Let's just hope they manage to pull off the same look and feel in the actual game. "The person who experiences greatness must have a feeling for the myth he is in." |
