Dragon Nest scored several key accolades during the Asia Online Game Awards. Dragon Nest won for Best Design and Best Technology and was also selected as the Most Popular Online Game in China. Dragon Nest is currently in open beta testing in North America and will officially launch later this fall.

This game hit BIG with my friends and I. Not only is the combat fast paced and supremely enjoyable but the leveling is suprisingly deep. You can have 2 characters same class and have TOTALLY different play styles.

It's also free.... which is AWESOME. The cash shop is full of things that are not even CLOSE to being a must buy. Simple things like pots and birds to talk in world chat. The one item that is useful is the  bind stamp which Unbinds an item so you can sell it on the AH. Not a big deal and not really needed as money is VERY easy to come by. I do wish they'd add a respec scroll to the RMT store though as I'd like to optimize my class.

This is one of those rare gems that got all my REALLY picky friends playing at once. Most of us have even enjoyed it enough to be willing to spend some money on the shop if they add cosmetic items soon. Which most of them were SEVERELY against doing before they played this game.

I do believe that they will add respec scrolls in the near future. The main reason why there had none been added is because you receive one upon completing the Job Change follow-up quest (which requires you to talk to Irine in Carderock Pass).

The Cash Shop will have cosmetic items, although it's important to know that these items will offer minor stats bonus, mostly along the lines of the  avatar sets we've seen during Open Beta upon each level ups. The costumes offers stats bonus, anywhere between 1 to 10 points per stats, or around 100-300 HP/MP bonus, but nothing necessary of course.

This game is surprisingly fun!

Games that tell you, that your country are block, only onde day after the game is open, after you spen months folowing for the cbt and obt, doesnt deverse the gamers respect.

They will be hosting the game for all regions world wide that are not covered by other companies.  Also, cherry credits is starting open beta with level cap of 32, pvp enabled, and Minotaur Nest already available.  You're getting the better deal ;)
