The most I ever had at 1 times was 3... That was never enough, but I made due where I could... Right now I have just 1... |

I was paying $45/month for three accounts on one server (Bria) pre NGE. I had a Ranger/Rifleman and a Master Weaponsmith with popular shop on Dantooine Then I had a 3rd account I rotated through various builds for fun. So much to do in that virtual world and yet no "end game". Ahh the good old days. |

Spelling and grammar do matter. I find your lack of real-life skills disturbing. |

2 accounts, technically. I played one up until I quit after NGE. A year or two later, I created another to run the free trial, so I could see for myself what it was actually like. |

I had 8 accounts up until 2007. The only thing that keept me in the game from 2005 - 2007 was RP But in 2007 all my friends had left the game. Only thing left in the game was standing outside Mos Eisely Starport doing nothing |

Three, used to be 4 but gave one away. I only usually kept one active but activated the other when crafting and entertainer was in short supply and third account was alternative combat classes that I didn't play much (squad leader if the guild needed one, etc). Two had the buggy 3 character slot. ;) |

And yet.. not one fricken game developer out there gets that there is a HUGE number of us looking for someone to make another sand box just like the original SWG. It's like a pre-made consumer market just sitting here for the taking, and yet no one wants our $50-100 a month subscriptions for our 4-8 accounts for a game we loved and miss dearly.
I mean seriously explain it to me, because to me its at least 25 k subscribers, with an average of 2 accounts each, at $30 a month. I mean really because to me thats $750 thousand dollars a month just sitting there and not one developer wants it? I mean really? Not even some of these small indie developers?
I mean this is so typical of the industry and on par with EA's famous move pulling the plug on Earth and Beyond just because they had no clue what and mmo was or how to manage it.
Too many morons running things and making the big decisions. |

I had 5 active accounts, then the NGE hit, and I had 0 active accounts. A creative person is motivated by the desire to achieve, not the desire to beat others. |

I had 6 until shortly after the CU hit, then I was down to 2 until the NGE hammered the nail in the proverbial coffin. |

Originally posted by Sorrow The cost to develop it would be far greater and now with SOEs blunder this sale of this concept is very very very very hard. Raphs vision is amazing, but it was ahead of it's time lets face it. BUT the biggest mistakes was the fact they did not try to fix what they had vs, saying screw it do OVER.. I mean Jeff Freeman left... and then, I mean I say this candidly killed himsef. I myself had heated discussions with him.. some may actually know he posted here prior to his death about the subject. I also posted Smedley emails live - right here causing some issues back in the day and brought them here to debate things. I was very suprised to see it happen to a extent - in the end I think the CONCEPT IS AMAZING but ahead of it's time. SWTOR is fun,. I have been in beta for a year... and I can tell you as some have it is fun.. Theme driven and not a sandbox type game but it was never meant to be. It will fill my Star Wars fix though. To actually beat SWGs concept with Raph would take an amazing team and some serious dedication. That is for sure. We may not see it in our lifetime even. I think looking back if SOE had dumped the money into fixing things we would not be having this convo here actually. But it is hersay -who knows now. Sad though for sure, I agree. |

Originally posted by Theiskareot I disagree that it is a bad product.
