I don't want porn in my mmo, it makes me not feel immersion :)

I don't feel offended or anything, even if it look paedofillish, but i just feel silly.

It's enough when you can see nice femalish body shapes on some sexier races, like elves and such. But to try and attract players to play by making most female models look like porn stars, i don't know.

I want to feel in a fantasy world, not in a world of some teenagers who gasp at every sight of a female flesh. Come on, there's so many porn on the internet, if you don't have a girlfriend... Don't we have enough of it in the movies, magazines, advertisings, ALL aspects of where someone wants to sell something. A half naked women by a car for sale, on a video card, on an action movie poster, everywhere. We will have naked chicks on money notes and coins soon. The queen of england might be naked on a pound coin soon.

So for me, all this naked sexiness brakes the immersion. I don't feel in a world of some mythical creatures. I feel in the world where i see dev creations with big signs "Sex sells" and "We made these models for dumb males"

I'd rather see ugly bearded dwarven females than the girls with a strings. They look more real in a fantasy rpg, yeah :)

Well to be totally honest (i'm sure you won't believe me) tera is one of the most immersive games on the market.  Are the females sexy? yeah they are but that takes nothing away from immersion.  HighElf & Castanic females are hot as hell but HE's are still snobish by the way they act and carry themselves and if you see how & where the castanics live (their city and lore) you would understand why they dress and act the way they do.  Most of the time cosmetics have nothing to do with immersion but in this case....yeah it fits.

I think most people that have this aversion to "sexy" see it as "sexy" being pushed down their throats.

When cleavage is shown in ads for this site you either;

A) Click it

B) Think about clicking it, but don't, and have a good laugh at their tactics.

Some people have serious libido issues and are all about it, some people are somewhere in the middle, and others feel targeted - and therefore personally offended. I worry the most about the latter folk, because they like to be the ones to set the standards, and the morality police kill art. Yes, sexy is art, and it's offensive art to some. People are literally angry about the artistic portrayal of minors, period. Understandable... to a point.

I could understand if some certain race would look really sexy, coming from some special environment or something. Where everyone looks sexy and wears little cloths. So be it.

 It's just that there is a trend to make every possible female in a game with overtop sexiness - very slim waist, very big boobs, all the shapes are overdone, you know. And not just one race.

By the way, i believe huge huge weapons doesn't add a lot to the immersion either... :)

But i hope Tera will do well - at least it's something different from all those tab targeting quest grinders.

Id say terra got is art from Manga/manuha (mis spelled but) . 

And the same whit the Loli chars, ITs Normal in Korea/japan, and if you read upp on ther Manga/manuha, you will see a lot of Lolis. Her is a thing, Id admit i find some loli chars Sexy. I do:D but Kids,, NOP... 

the same as i find some Manga chars whit cat ears sexy. im stil not turned on by a real Cat.....

This has all been said by the western team many MANY times.

There are ZERO screenshots of the new outfits for the western market.  No one knows what they will looks like.  All the "new screenshots" you see are from the korean version of the game.

Having said that, it is clear they are aiming for a teen rating.  IMO this is stupid.  People are hyped from what they hear and see from korea.  Killing that is just dumb.  Not only that but killing it while taking more time to release (i'm sure this has something to do with it) is just killing hype level of this game.

The western team has made many bad decisions lately this is just another one.

You mean this MMORPG is not good enough for you to play any more, if they take out naked chicks? Was it the main reason you would have played Tera Online?

Just to show two. Needless censorship is a sign that more BS is going to get censored/edited by the guy who think's he knows what we want. I mean they already announced legalized RMT (Chronoscrolls). GG for Brian Knox as producer. Did he list Aion on his resume or what?

Oh yes the Elins and popori were well thoughtout when they were added to the game.  Those two races were purely for the easten market and just as the HE's & Amani's were for the west.  That being said their still fun as hell to play regardless of where you are from.

This may come as a surprise to you but it is a mature rated korean mmo. Its not for everyone and it shouldn't be if you can't handle sexuality in your video games.

Yes they seem to have some tools running the show there that believe censoring pg13/teen rated content in a M rated mmo is nessesary.

I'll bet had EME not knee jerked to the BS that trolls do on you tube and other sites nobody would have cared or given it much thought. But since they highlighted its a problem people just love to jump on board. People act like all Elin armor is this way and like the option to reskin doesn't exist.

Sexuality is about how people experience the erotic and express themselves as sexual beings.

This game includes panty shots.

Don't really have an opinion on the censoring. As far as I know the developers are censoring themselves, which they have a right to do. Everyone censors themselves when appropriate (I watch my language around young children for example). If the developers feel it's appropriate to censor their western release then that's their decision and I don't see how that's somehow a morally wrong decision to make.

I find it absurd that a female warrior would go out and battle in her Lingerie.  It's one of the dumbest aspects of MMORPG's.
