I was just sitting around thinking about all of the crap games, MMORPG and otherwise, that I have bought in the past 10-11 years. But there is one that stands out. One that takes the cake for me. The one game, that when friends asked how it was, I said this: "It is the only game I truely regret buying". (And I buy A LOT of games) FF14.
What was yours? That one stinker that just out stinks the rest for you? |

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Not that I am a prude, but it was like 20 swear words in the first 5 minutes of gameplay. Just turned me completely off. |

Dungeons and Dragons (before it went F2P eberron ulimited.) I couldnt' get over the graphics and animations. Followed closely by Spore. Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1. |

Dragon Age 2. Can't even bring myself to get past the first chapter. Such a horribly uninteresting game compared to its predecessor. No story 'hook' at all, plus a ton of repetitive combat = BLECH. $60 wasted, IMO. |

I would have to go with EQII. I never made it passed the initial island you start out on. I just had a hard time with a shark coming up, several yards onto the beach and killing my character. I was told it was a glitch, but it happened three times to me and a few times to my friends. I hated the crafting. I just couldn't believe that you could actually take hefty damage from crafting in the game. It's not about fighting, it's about balance. It's not about enlightenment, it's about balance. It's not about balance. |

Rift - Complete waste of my money |

Umm... I'll say Rift. Not beause it's the worse game I've bought(or even a bad game), but just because i've gotten the least entertainment out of it for the buck comapred to other games, that I regret having wasted money. Especially when I could have been dissapointed for half the price a few weeks later. Even when I bought mmo's that were barely functionally, it had at least kept me preoccupied for a while. With rift, it just had me "meh"-ing within a week with been there done that. |

Aion, complete waste of my cash. Nothing but botting and killing other bots. _________ Watching: Darkfall: Unholy Wars, Elder Scrolls Online, ArcheAge, Camelot Unchained, Bless, Black Desert Online, Lineage Eternal, MU 2. Always hating on instances in MMOs! Open worlds, open PvP, territory control and housing please. More persistence, more fun. |

Yes, I paid money for Hellgate: London.
I hang my head in shame.
I have decided that Rift is the last fantasy-based MMO I will ever buy. It isn't the game itself, or previous games--it's the entire genre I'm burned out on. Honestly Rift, nothing you did displeased me--"it isn't you, it's me". |

Nothing surprises me these days, luckily I am getting into the industry to create my own surprises. |

Rift.... it's a solid MMO in every sense, but that's all it is. It has content but they didn't make it really fun, it's just there.... I even prefer FFXIV over Rift... |

Rift isn't a bad game, you guys were burnt out on WoW. So really, you guys were the problem. I am 'meh'ing on it though, I can barely bring myself to log in enough for my guild to not get rid of me.
Anyways, Mortal Online/Darkfall Online. Both with glaring flaws. Biggest reasons other than they are bad games, StarVault took my 75 dollars and never sent me a physical product. I did not purchase digital. Horrible way to do business in my opinion. |

WoW. It was fun and addicting but quickly got bored at end game. For "non-stinker" reasons I would say GW. I like the game, but bought it at the wrong time. I started playing Baldurs Gate and want to play BGII, NWN, Ice Windale before continuing with MMORPG's. |
