Originally posted by Zhenocnra No matter how many times you're going to call me homophobic (Thanks for the personal attacks by the way), I still maintain that breast jiggle (Especially considering the outfits they stick a lot of the females in in MMORPGs) is far more noticable than crotch jiggle. Even blinking is far more noticable than crotch jiggle. BREATHING is more noticable than crotch jiggle. You can totally watch people's chests rise and fall pretty easily. Sorry, it just is. I know some people have these elaborate fantasies where men's crotches are just bouncing around like crazy, practically exploding out of their pants, and the first thing everybody notices when they see a guy is 'Oh my god, did you see the way that guy's package moves?', but... no. That's not really the way it works. Anybody who tells you they're so big that everybody's first thought when they enter a room is his crotch physics... is lying. Sorry to destroy any fantasies about the amazingly huge guys who are so noticable. :( On a slightly related note, you should probably play Blade & Soul, because the men are as scantily clad as the women at times. Also, I'm pretty sure there's some crotch bulge going on there. Also, male nipples. (I will be the first to argue that more games need to bother to give male avatar choices that are halfway as attractive as the female avatar choices... ... and that if there's a monstrous male, that it's silly to have eyecandy females of the same species... but I just can't bring it in my heart to say that jiggling crotches are the way to sexual equality) |

Does that also mean bottom and belly physics? |

You maybe think it does, but it normally isnt. Of course there might be men who like to show their package jiggle in their shorts without getting arrested and also tend to have this hobby that involves wearing a raincoat when its not so warm outside. While boobs on the other hand tend to jiggle even when covered in the strongest sports bra. If they are large enough of course :p |

Jiggly crotch animations are to be the main focus of developers. I need at least 76 degrees of sway in there for me to feel comforable. "I am not in a server with Gankers...THEY ARE IN A SERVER WITH ME!!!" |

For me, it's not about boob physics, it's about consistant physics. If the animation of a body is moving in a realistic way except for one part, then that part will be noticed as being ...wrong somehow. So, boob physics should be as realistic as any other part of that particular animation is. *Sorry about the large font, my eyes aren't what they used to be. |

Originally posted by Meowhead I'll stop you right there since obviously you're getting defensive over a personal attack you assumed was aimed at you. Please feel free to show me where I said "Meowhead is a homophobe" in my previous posts. And on that note, anyone else want to speak up in defense of their pride because they're assuming I'm talking to them when I clearly never called anyone specifically a homophobe?

You're kind of slow in the head if you just realized that huh? Oh well, it's not like there's a contest going on featured on this website that requires people to login in order to enter the contest. But it's a possibility if you're not retarded like you and noticed the front page advertising such a contest.
P.S. People, it's post script, not PS. It's P.S.
Just kidding! :D |

Originally posted by SwampRob I'm surprised someone actually noticed this compared to the people going "eww no male crotch stuff; only boobies!" LOL! I agree, uniform and consistant all the way through regardless if they're fit or obese, male or female. |

I just don't see any jiggle in male crotches. A woman with large breasts and a low cut dress, it's like jello. A guy jogging, I don't see discernible movement. I'm not like "ewwww" I'm like, that's not realistic. Or maybe I'm wrong. Post a youtube video or something that shows what you're talking about. It's much more noticeable in movie CGI, but the point is the same. Watch a CGI generated human face; the programming can be 99% real-looking but your eyes will quickly be drawn to that 1% that is wrong, maybe it's a curl of the lip, or an eyelash movement. Like any human, you've spent your life looking at others faces and (at least subconciously) have a very good idea of how they move. It's not quite as obvious in computer games, becomes most don't try for an ultra-realistic look. If someone with long hair were running, and their muscles/boobs/body parts were moving appropriately to the action but the hair was still, you'd notice that. So you'll only tend to notice was seems wrong. *Sorry about the large font, my eyes aren't what they used to be. |

Originally posted by Zhenocnra You're painting people who disagree with you as homophobic. I'm cheerily disagreeing with you. A lot. 'People who don't want crotch physics are homophobes' is pretty much one of the standard pillars of your argument. You've used it in more than one post. If you'd like, I can quote all the times you've conflated disagreeing with you and crotch jiggle with homophobia. It's a ridiculous argument. I just though I'd cheerily throw myself in the way of it, because I'm HEROIC that way. It's really unattractive for somebody to be arguing and keep in dropping in insults involving the thought processes of those who disagree with them. So how about you stop insinuating things and we just argue the merits of crotch jiggle on its own without homophobia being an issue? |

I personally don't give a shit, though I will say proper physics in general are nice to have in an MMO. So long as game-play is fun the MMO is a winner. Full Sail University - Game Design |
