Alongside many things we see how ghost-mode looks(as well as demo player running from a reaper), the scales system, darkness obscuring the sight, some monsters, world map, combat, inn and etc.

How fun it would be to die because of server issue... Cause we know that has NEVER happened in any game we have played.

I don't think that i've ever been so excited about an up and coming mmorpg, since my first mmorpg,( linage 2, mainly becuase I also had just got my net upgraded to dsl back in 2008 sometime)

Its not the end of the world for sure, ye for the character maybe... (i talk because it did hapened to me right, YES it did)

No honestly death is just a natural thing in rpg games. You are bit pissed because "it wasn't my fault", but you know human kind can survive those stuff easily.

And remaking a character is kind of refreshing tbh, it feel more as the rpg games was intented.

I guess wizardry online has nothing to do with the wizardry series for pc. When I look up some images on google I find asian-characters?

As stereotypical this might sound, but this disturbs my image I have in my mind from back in the days playing the original game. No thanks.

Edit: Yes on top of this forum site I'm writing you can see those pictures. This is not Wizardry?!? Massive bloom to cover up the lack of grafics in general.

As for "asian characters" well obviously since wizardry is basically a big thing in japan.

Did USA or europe have huge wizardry 30th anniversary events? Nope. Who Did? Japan.

So how does this 'permadeath' work? I see that you need get back yo your corpse? If you get back to your corpse, you wil not permadie?

If so, sounds like THE perfect environment for veterans to cause grief on newbs by corpsecamping them...

  Exactly.  I've played in online rpgs where perma death, item/gear losses were possible and I've lived in the south east, mid west, and Pacific Northwest, good connnections, dial up connnections, DSL etc. I've actually had very few "deaths" due to connections and lags over the past twenty years online. Basically if I log in and I am having one of those rare bad connection or having latency isues I dont play. Basically it seldom has been a problem over the past two decades.

 I do recall one night of terror where my blood was pumping etc back in the early days of Dragonrealms, which has perma death risk and gear loss chances where I did get disconnected with my paladin in the middle of a l lot of creatures and thought crap... there goes all my Trailblazer gear from the beta. Got in was indeed dead and managed to get back and get raised by a priest who someone had called while they guarded my gear spread across the battle field. NIghts like that meant blood pumping excitement and it made your gear and what you've done with your character mean something. A sense of accomplishment and achievement. 

 Now a days mmorpgs don't really mean much, the risk/reward concept was turned into a pull the lever and get a treat. Boring.  I just wish more games were out there that still did this sort of game mechanics.

I lost numerous Proving Grounds parties to tripped power cords and  the fact that the outlets in my room were on the same breaker as the washer and dryer. :)

That could do only good ..its a plus fr the game,especially if we are talking about hugelist of  player options on UO,thoguhtfull and deep character advancment system of wizardry 8 hopefully.

Thats a plus as well. Some will say that its gonna drive away many wow players but that aint so bad if u check the state in quality terms of wow community.

- If you die in a dungeon, you become a ghost and get a chance to recover your body. If you fail, you get perma-dead and loose everything and have to start a new character.

Ok that will have loads of talk and talk in future . My opinion is i d love to see that simply cause none tried it so far ,at least no major projects . One thing is certain when u see a character next to you and he is high lvl enough , you ll know that hes a good player without needed to aks achievements.And you ll also know hes alive,Surviving to the higher lvls near lvl cap would be a glorious acievement and a thing players would be proud about.As long as game mechanics endorce that ofc.
- Game focus is to make monsters actually terrifying and making sure that players HAVE to consider their odds and realize that sometimes its better to run the hell away.

Thats also something i want to witness in an mmorpg. Risk vs reward etc.And the stakes? would be your own life hehe. Lots of adrenaline pops ups inc.
