Dark Age of Camelot

Ok I've played all 3 realms in Frontiers and can say that none of the classes that were added are horribly over powered.

Bainshee could use a tweak, perhaps have range reduce the damage of that damn Frontal AOE Bolt spell... that sucker is just flat out WRONG but other than that not too bad.

Vampiir is ok, slightly over powered due to ability to climb walls but other than that only a real pain in the 30-45 BG's.  By 50 they balance out but, again, climb walls is a tad over the top (pardon the pun).

Heretic is pretty good too.  Not overpowered at all and a perfect fit for an area Alb was weak in.

Warlock is somewhat over powered but not horribly so.  I think the floating "kill me now" dots over their heads more than make up for any over-powered status they have.  In 1 on 1 they're over powered.  In group combat they're actually a tad on the weak side.  Overall they're a solid class that's a bit on the too powerful side but not sure how you could "fix" that without nuking the class altogether.

Valkyrie is weak.  It's a really craptastic class that was poorly designed.  Everything it does decent the Thane does better.  The Frontal AOE Chants are WAY too expensive for what they do as well.  It's a decent class but by any standards they're weak.

Overall I think hib made out the best with 2 SLIGHTLY over powered classes.  Alb got one perfectly balanced class in the 'tic and Mid made out 'ok' with a slightly strong class and a pretty weak one as well.

I am curious why Alb only got 1 class in Cata and the other 2 realms each got 2. 

Albs got only one class with Cats expansion for no good reason other than that 90% of the population absolutely LOVED Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Funny shtuff indeed but I main on Mid) and want to dance around in plate mail and sing the lumberjack song. (Overpopulation.)

Heretics: Fun to play, food for my Berserker.

Vampiirs: Get it off! Get it awhawhawfffffffffff!!!!

Bainshees: Casper hurt my feelings shortly after stun. (Missed charge button.)

Warlocks: Hey, you LFG?...Where'd he go?

As I sit here scratching my head trying to remember the new useless Mid class...AHA!!!!

Vamps were sickening lvling as a mid through bgs. At 35-39 bainshees roam in 6 ghosts and a warden bard. ^ pbaoe bolters launching kills 4 fgs instantly.

Rvr well mid sucks i cant get in groups and running solo as a savage i die instantly to 8 mans so cant comment there.

I think the recent Warlock nerf has put them in line, and I am happy for them yet think the Uninterupt change is stupid... Regardless I am looking forward to seeing the Locks pull through, find new specs, and become a class that now requires a surprising amount of skill and planning, instead of a chamber dump then Uninterupt a powerful spell class to kill everything.
