just looking for something to do |
I got AO from fileplanet and when it was finsihed i clicked open folder. So it showed me the folder with the beginners guide and a bunch of data stuff. At the bottom was install along wit 3 different setups. I double clicked install is says "An installation support file could not be installed. Catastrophic failure." What do i do???

Sorry, but I have no idea. If you have DSL or something of that sort, I suggest that you download the game again, unzip the zip file(at least I think its a zip file Good Luck

I say just download it off the official site, www.anarchy-online.com and download the client. Then download all the patches need and your set. If you've dot dial-up (or a reasonably slow connection), see if you can get a friend with broadband to d/l the file for you, then burn it to a few disk's, then just transfer them over. Good luck in any case, and I hope to see you on Anarchy Online some day.

I'm trying to download this right now and it's going so damn slow. I have a laptop that's feeding off a cable connection and this damn thing is taking forever lol. It's estimating 2 days before being finished lol. |

If any of that doesn't work, then your best bet is getting someone on this site, who has AOL instant messenger, or MSN messenger or Yahoo messenger or any of those messengers that can file transfer, and have someone send it to you. Just my opinion, :P

if any 1 need some help getting this game I can burn it to disk for them and send it to them, I do not mind doing it I help my friends like that all the time. I have cabil and it is a 3meg download speed so i can get it in about 45min.'s to a hour Just let me know if you would like for me to send you a copy of it

See, waht did I tell you, someone would be nice enough to send you a copy via mail or any other means, thank you Lord-Dragon, you're a good guy for volunterring for that, and ur lucky u can get download it that fast.
