Originally posted by Meowhead I played GLB for a year. I almost picked sports, becuase that is what I would really like to see; however, I have no clue what a great sports MMO would look like. Being an agent is not a great sports MMO. |

Age of empires on line could be fun... It would be somewhat like fantasy but history instead. |

Originally posted by Meowhead having run a marathon, I can honestly say I am not sure the simulation of that would be much fun. |

Maybe a death race 2000 marathon MMO. I can see it now. If only David Carradine wouldn't have passed away, his voice work would have been epic. |

I went with Western, as I think it would really work for an MMO. I picture it almost like how UO used to be. You have the Outlaws (PvP players), Sheriffs (anti-PvP players), but then you would have your miners and frontiersmen. Going out and exploring a huge world, I don't picture it working as a small MMO world. I would really like to see a Western MMO
Other choices I was trying to decide between: Historical (roman period, same time as Rome Total War, that was an awesome time period) and Steampunk (untapped market, and I think it would be really awesome) Check out my nature/animal/relaxing music channel on Youtube! My game channel on Youtube! |

If done correctly I would like to see a Western, an RdR:MMO comes to mind. I find it funny how many votes there are for Historical though, tied for 2nd place as of right now, but there are enough based on that out there already, it's probably one of the most over used right up there with orc/elve Fantasy. |

Agree with the Lovecraft part, but I want vampires. I would love an MMO based on Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, actually. However, on the Lovecraft longing I have....I think The Secret World is going to fit that bill and I can hardly wait. President of The Marvelously Meowhead Fan Club |

A mmo based on Farscape would be really cool. |

I wouldn't mind seeing a dev tackle something that doesn't involve anything super fantastical.
Maybe something medieval where Gandalf or Harry Potter doesn't make a show. Something where Goblins and supernatural silly creatures don't make a show either. And that goes for silly Rifts, Portals or Stargates. |

I voted western. A Sci-Fi Western; think Firefly. I also would like to see an air combat mmo. A lot of possibilities there. Air pirates, huge zeppelin fortresses. Treasure hunting. Something based on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i23KRvtWLx8
Edit: For all that is good and kind. Please, no more fantasy Mmogs. |

Personally I'd love to see a medieval sim/historical based, sandbox MMORPG, however, I could live with a good Sci-fi, Steampunk, or Western. As long as they were well made sandboxe games, I'd definitely not count out anything though. ![]() |
