"Racing to endgame is like racing to the end of your vacation." |
On these forums, I've been hard on DCUO -- my biggest issue is that the content is incredibly shallow and would not justify an ongoing subscription. But, as I stare at an unused Vanguard: Saga of Heroes collector's edition sitting on my desk (got it for 9.99 ebay!), I'm left wondering: I don't see SOE as having any outstanding games, but there certainly is a fairly broad stable of...games that have sparks of brilliance in them....is there enough to make it worthwhile? So, to toss out yet another survey.....
(edit: stupid forum editor ate my poll! ; ' )

DCUO is not actually in the station pass yet. I have the station pass and it isn't there. I'm waiting for it though. Venge You know, in ancient Egypt. One of the hieroglyphics on the walls of the pyramids actually says 'I am upset as my heir will ruin my kingdom' or something to that affect. This is 5000BC stuff and you know what? Nothing has changed. :P |

even if it WHERE on the station pass....it would not. DCUO is a shallow single player console game trying to imitate a PC MMORPG. |

I thought about this myself and i was laughin when i looked at the selection of games for the station pass. I was like erm yeah no thanks. Its a neat system tho for sure. Jeremiah 8:21 I weep for the hurt of my people; I stand amazed, silent, dumb with grief. |

last time i checked, the station pass was roughly the same price as 3, yes.. 3.. full priced AAA titles.. so.. not a chance. Its questionable whether DCUO is value for money, the station pass definitely isnt. |

Station pass is $30 a month the same as 2 MMO's. As I dabble in EQ, EQ2, and Vanguard that makes the pass worth it. When DCUO is available (I'm hoping they are just waiting for the free month to expire) then for me that will be 4 games for the price of 2. Venge You know, in ancient Egypt.
