Just curious but how it seems Trion is being very liberal with Beta Keys, Are there any worries of playing the game and getting the full experience through beta then not wanting to do it again for release?? just seems to me that once everyone has played the beta events all the way through, they wont want to return for release?? no?? curious what everyone else thinks about this?! Post your thoughts!! |

It seems to me Trion has realized Beta is the best publicity tool theyre going to get. Hype has started to rise since more beta partcipants are talking about the experience and most of the people that got into it want to subscribe, if they havent already done so. Considering that, it would be a sound business strategy to facilitate beta access as much as they can. Theres also a lesson to other companies in this: a polished open beta means success. |

thats why I'm not playing anything past 25, and only the two dungeons, and Warfront :) How much WoW could a WoWhater hate, if a WoWhater could hate WoW? |

yeah I agree I probably wont get past 25 or 30.. but not everyone will be able to hold back from playing, do you guys think maybe there should be a level cap to the last beta events soo no one gets to max level and sees everything there is before release? |

I think its a good thing. This way we won't have to listen to people who have no intention of buying whining about a free trial. |

It looks as if the levels may be capped at low 40, for the last trial, so you will not be able to see everything. I imagine they probably feel they have more to gain from people seeing their product, than they do to lose, from people feeling they have seen it and done it.
They have really amp'd up the key giveouts, it seems anyone interested in trying it could probably get in now.
Yeah, I have been trying so many combinations, and both sides, that I only have a guy around 20 atm as my max. |

Yes, the build up of hype for RIFT is almost entirely to how much people are enjoying these great betas, more players more hype, but I too worry about burning through too much content before launch, like so many did with STO. My LTS guild thanks to beta experience and head-start got to end game within 2 weeks of launch, and found nothing, and all quit at once, tragic.

I REALLY want a chance to check this game out. If anyone has an extra key please send it my way. http://medias.luna-atra.fr/gw2/char_tool/CT_imageGenerator.php?pseudo=Tarak&lang=EN&code=&code=TSwtLDIsLSwzLC0sNCw5LDEzLDE0LDE1LC0sMTMsMzUsNDksNTAsNTc%3D |

I am a big rift fan and have played through all the beta's thus far and I am worried about this problem. During the beta I sometimes find myself not logging in even though I have nothing else to do as I feel a little burnt out. Now its not such a big deal for me because I will be playing regardless, but if I feel this way then there must be a fair few others that feel like it and they might be deciding if they will play the game at release or not based on these beta's.
Just hope that these beta's don't create hype at the expense of actual subscribers at release |

Thought the purpose of a beta was to submit feedback? |

I don''t have to know how to make a better game, I only need to know where the "CANCEL" button is! |

Only thing I can say is this. If you think you have seen everything in the short BETA events, your wrong. It really is that simple. There is far too much stuff hidden off the beaten path to be found along with going through all the rail content, the rifts, strongholds, invasions, dungeons, PvP warfronts, PvP contested zones, crafting, master dungeons.... Seriously, come on. I have got to L27 on both sides in the beta time so far and I feel I have seen, not being a raider, all that the game offers (with the rest looking like the same meh quest grind, just over a few different small maps). I will pop intot he betas though just out of curiousity. I really see no need to buy this at launch though... |

It's only a 3 day beta. If you get burned out during that time then the fault is your own. Play in moderation.
The beta doesn't give you access to the whole game, so going through the little content that has been opened up is going to get repetitive, that's a given. |

You get the feel for a game pretty quickly. First impression lasts, as they usually say. I don't care about "it's just beta" remarks. If it doesn't feel right and it has nothing additional to offer me I won't invest in it. I give all games I try a fair chance. Saying you have to play through most of the content to actually know if you like the game is just silly. The game should be fun from the get go, otherwise I don't see the point. |

Oh I see now, please disregard my previous comment. If you play entirely on the rails, and never get off them, then yes you can get to the point you will feel you have seen it all in the short beta events. But of course this only works if you are mindless sheeple who for some reason can not function once you jump off those rails. So anyway yeah, for those that fit this generalization I can see how you would 'see it all'.
EDIT: oh and to the dude above me, Rift is fun. If you had played it you would know that. That is why a majority of those that actually tried the game now pre-ordered and are waiting on the edge of thier seat for Tuesday morning to arrive. But then again, you would have known that had your comment been based off personal experience and not just assumptions based off a wild guess snatched from the air someplace behind your desk chair.
