Let's be honest...SWG popped my MMO cherry and I still dream of the old days. But, those are long gone, and I'm thinking about making a comeback. I had a Master Chef / Master Architect, and I was in the minority of the player base that I loved planting my harvesters in spots I had scouted, left them overnight and would come back and grab my resources in the morning -- go back to my house and cook up the best recipes in the game. Yet, does any of this still exist? I know they shrunk the 10 die-hard crafting classes into just a couple. But is it still a viable part of the game? Any chance of making any money or still being a viable way to play the game? I lust for the days of people sending me whispers about when the next batch of whatever would be ready and had people lining up. Does this still exist? Thanks! |

It still exists, crafted food and drink is a very important part of pvp/queesting/instances. Population is a lil low so you might have to wait till you find some people and spread the word of your existence. I love SWG, wish more people played. I know its a lil outdated w graphics and stuff but the people ive met are by far the best ive met in any game. Crafting is and probably always be the most intensive crafting there is with harvesters , resource quality, and the quality of your crafting device, lol, best stuff comes from crafted items. |
