No question for me: ArenaNet Loved GW, loved the community involvement, they obviously love the game as much as their fans and they are building GW2. |

Why are there several companies on that list who have never releaed an MMO? Bioware, Trion and Enmasse should be removed. If WoW = The Beatles |

I'm really surprised there's no SoE option in here, not that I would vote for it, but surprised all the same.
I voted for Turbine although I'm not really digging them lately. Hard for me to deny since I've been with them since closed beta of AC1 through all their titles, for better and for worse.
Honorary mention for me would have to go to:
Funcom(dons fire retardant suit). Their games have provided me with lots of wasted time to account for as well. Now if they can just get past that crappy launch issue they always seem to have with their games....
Blizzard. Yeah, WoW isn't old school FFA UO, but what they did, they did right. The game is polished, and easily accessible with a broad appeal.
CCP. What more needs to be said, a true success story with Eve online. Einherjar_LC says: WTB the true successor to UO or Asheron's Call pst! |

Turbine without a doubt. It revolutionised Subscription model. MMOs will never be the same again |

I voted Anet, but it felt wrong considering they haven't put anything out this year to be voting for them. All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick. |

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

I hate their profiteering, but SOE should really be a choice here, considering the positve attention DCUO is getting, the innovation the Agency seems to be aiming for, and the fact they are running at least 3 games that are enjoyed by stable profitable players bases. Other companies here that have not yet released a MMO should be taken off. |

Hey... I love what I hear and see about RIFT... but how can TRION be on this list?
In order to be someone's favorite company... wouldn't they have had to actually ship a product first?
They might be on the list for next year..and I hope they are... but having them nominated THIS year when they have no products on the market is kind of.. puzzling. "I should point out that no other company has shipped out a beta on a disc before this." - Official Mortal Online Lead Community Moderator Starvault's reponse to criticism related to having a handful of players as the official "test" team for a supposed MMO: "We've just have another 10ish folk kind enough to voulenteer added tot the test team" (SIC) This explains much about the state of the game :-) |

Voting Bioware without voting their parent company EA is allowed. Voting ArenaNet without voting their parent company NCSoft is allowed. Why can't I vote Blizzard Entertainment without voting their parent company Activision Blizzard? |

Voting here seems irrational. As are many of the choices. Many of the listed gaming companies haven't even released a game yet, and several haven't for many years. If you go on the strength of the crop of companies with previous and still played games, the list gets much shorter. |
