I resubbed (well actuallyit was a free 'return' code that charged me...) to this last month and found myself logging back out after 20 mins due to boredom. I am in S2 as a level 23 player.
I dunno, maybe I will resub this week as I have a week off next week to try this new patch http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/ab/Norsefire-logo.png |

You don't stop playing because you get old - you get old because you stop playing. |

I am enjoying the game - currently maining a rifle/scientist through the early stages of Sector 2. I like the aiming necessary, scavenging/crafting variety and familiar, yet new scenery, but... ....the problem for me is that there is very little variety. The quests are pretty much all varieties on 3-4 different themes and the AI is identical for virtually all enemies, depending on if they use melee or ranged weapons. I've just crafted my first machine gun (AK-206 I think) and am looking forward to trying that out, but at the moment it is a very uncomplicated game, with directions given for pretty much everything, so very little thought is required for .... pretty much anything. In future patches I;d like to see some different models for AI behaviour (aggressive, stealthy, call for reinforcements etc) to make it a bit more of a challenge. At the moment, it's not enough to hold my interest for more than maybe 6 months. |
