Recently Korean MMO publishers have been buying up smaller studios. Its a tactic very reminiscent of Microsoft, EA, and Activision. I think the reason is so they can offer a pass to their games for a flat monthly fee and have a wide selection. Some of the Game portfolios of these major Korean Publishers is starting to get large in regards to mmo standards since mmos take so much longer to produce. Closed Games NCSoft
Nexon
NHN
HanbitSoft
Gravity Interactive

To be EA, they would have to buy up indie devs are ruin the games beyond all recognition. I don't think any of these companies are worthy of EA's infamy just yet. ------------------------- |

You're pushing a bit too far to be honest. None of these companies have actually "messed up" a game. Hell, HanbitSoft salvaged HellGate London and made it into a new game (and I can't wait for HGL Ressurection). ------ |
