1. Will this game release on the 360? It is slated to as per the site, but I am wanting to ensure that a. it will and b. that 360&pc players are on the same server. 2. I noticed in a previous interview that the game will not be FPS twitch but have a twitch element. Are there still going to be "hot bars" or is the AoC combat mechanic going to be more prevelent in this game? |

My question for Funcom would be this:
Have you learned from your previous mmo launches in regards to scope, promise, and delivery, and how do you anticipate The Secret World to be accepted by the community?

My questions would be: 1. I am very group/guild focused, will there be more content and focus on guild/community? I feel this a very important setting. Guilds and community is very important to make people stay in the game. 2. How will items be handled. Will we be able to gather lots and lots of different gear and store it for later use like in anarchy online? Or extremely limited like Age of Conan? Please compare TSW with these 2 games. 3. WIll we see advanced tradeskilling, much like Anarchy Online? Or simplified and easy like Age of Conan. Please compare TSW with these 2 games. |

if there is more open world PvP, will it take place more in the normal world? What I mean is, if you are walking around a city for instance, gathering for crafting, or somehow doing other things to raise skills, will one have to try and blend into the NPC crowd to avoid other PC's? It would be a really cool mechanic if only people of your faction could recognize you and see you name above your head or what not. People that run everywhere or jump and do idiot things would be easy to spot and engage. It would be cool to need street clothes that enable you to look like a NPC to avoid PvP fights if desired. Obviously you would have to learn to act like a PC if you are in a risky area. |

My question is: If someone types alot, then they are a typist. If a person person judges people based on gender, they are a sexist. So, the question is... if someone has alot of friends, does that mean they are a socialist? |

Are we looking at resource management, and those resources being scarce in this world? Will there be classes, or will we be able to select the abilities and spells we want to mix and match? |

The world itself, will it be seamless; meaning that there will be minimal amount of loading in-between zones or no loading at all?
What will be the impact of PVP on the game; will there be forced participation of PVP? |

How fast is character progression going to be? Is this going to be a game I can play for many months -- even years, or will it be a game I master in 6 weeks and hit the unsubscribe button on? |

well I read some questions but if what I ask here as already mentioned, sorry XD
1) how the target system will work? will be click and point or free aim?(like in fantasy earth zero or falllen earth, you have really aim to hit something) 2) character development , how it will work? levels? skills? both? we will have the ability to put stats like str, int, agi? or is a simple template for all? 3) how will work the craft system? if it will be on the game? 4) will have "raids"? 5) will have any kind of pvp? battleground/ free for all/ faction based? 6) all factions will have they own maps or will all be on the same maps? 7) linear or sandbox? quest based or grind? 8) equips, will have basic ones for everyone or we can customize equips to our heart desire? (it work for upgrades and looks), also what kind of upgrades will be here for equips?(enchants and options?) 9) any kind of transport for players?(cars, choppers, aircraft, maybe horses?) 10) what are the plans for the game after the launch? development will be in little parts or several huge expansions? 11) what the people behind the game think or they have a vision of they like the game will be in a long run?
well for now I guess its all XD. |

Let us just hope that Funcom realizes how fast pace of character development in AoC hurt the game and does not allow such to happen in this game. I find it hard to trust them after the AoC debacle. |

Will there be a skill cap, or will a single character be able to eventually do everything given enough time? |

Originally posted by Ozmodan If you want my opinion AoC was an unfinished buggy mess at launch with a lot of ideas, only of which a few completely worked. Believe it or not the starting zone at Tortage was a lot of fun and quite a well crafted starting game in itself. After that it becomes a more traditional leveller, and the next 20 levels are quite fun, and then after that the quests sort of fall away and the last 10 levels are a grinders paradise. That folks was the AoC experience on launch plus a million bug of one form or another. Thinking back to when I played it I think there must have been a slightly schizophrenic development cycle to the game, I'll bet you level 1-20 style of game was planned for the whole game, then Funcom started to run out of time on it and cut corners. Same with the end-game, lots of bugs and stuff that didn't really work, massive-scale PvP, EQ-style dungeon boss raiding, city building. A mess. The above is why I am sceptical about Secret World until it becomes beta. Sure give Funcom another chance if they produce a good game, a full and extended open beta will tell us that. As a result I find it hard to believe the hype levels SW is building, but there you go. |
