As the title says, what will be your main class? I'm sure many of us will try out alts, but what do you foresee being your main?

Tough decision. I'm really torn between Sith Warrior and Inquisitor....kinda wish I could take half from each class, and combine them.

I tend to play manipulative, power-hungry characters with a tendency toward deceit and betrayal....so of course the inquisitor seems a natural fit.

But I also love being able to dominate in physical combat, to be an unstoppable force in battle and hone my abilities to a razor edge. So the Warrior also seems like a good fit.

Hopefully I'll figure it out by the time the game launches, since I don't plan on having any alts.

My main will be a Sith Warrior and my alt will be a Bounty Hunter.

I wanna try out a Sith Inquisitor, but I intend to play every class.

Waiting to hear more about the crafting system then I can answer this. Hopefully I will be able to give an answer.

I was under the impression that you weren't going to play TOR Whar? Did you change your mind or am I simply remembering wrong?

- I have to be on the Empire because my real life friends will be

- Everyone and their grandma will be a Sith Warrior

- Bounty Hunters are cool but not my kinda style

- The Inquisitor has waaay too much lightning ... it's flying out of his whole body like an unrealistic Force Unleashed character or something

If he's being sincere, it seems like he's changed his mind (for TOR, at least) about themeparks and is willing to give it a shot. Mainly because BioWare is trying to incorporate both themepark and sandbox elements. Or maybe the real Wharg0ul got abducted by aliens, and this is his replacement. Who knows?

For me, it's the Trooper. I hope it'll play like the WAR Engineer.

Ah okay so my memory isn't faulty. When he was attacking the themepark games it was giving me some strong WTF moments. He was a member of a guild I was running in Chronicles of Spellborn (pure themepark game, more on rails than even WoW or LotRO) and I never got the impression he hated the game, so his dislike for them just seemed to be out from left field.

Since it's going to be a very story heavy game, in a good way, I'm most interested in the smuggler. Jedi's are always so moral conscious and they're always dealing with all this deep philosophical mumbo. Give me a blaster, a nemesis to torment and a three girl love triangle and I'll play the rogue. 

Probably Imperial Agent. Or a Smuggler. Depends on the storyline xP

 Interviews, Dev comments, and info over the last few months has addressed my concearns for the game.

Not only will I play, but I'll be buying a second account for my son, so we can duo.

I'm actually at the point where I'm fairly stoked for the game now.

 I'm really not completely against theme parks, as long as they offer enough things to do besides combat. I don't want to log in with nothing to look foreward to but questing and fighting. It gets stale. I need crafting, roleplay.....all teh things that round out an MMORPG into something more than a 3rd person combat game.

From what I've seen and read, SWTOR is being developed to appeal to my play style in addition to the standard themepark fare.

As for TCOS.....it was different, and beautiful. It had world PVP, and wasn't loot-based. The reason I left was that there was nothing to do but fight and quest ;)

I'm digging the low IA numbers. Makes it even more appealing.

Probably Trooper first time round.
