It seems the client servers are down and the Allods website servers are headed that way too the way its performing badly. I had a feeling this would happen at OB or launch especially. Their servers were increasingly having problems the more that got invited throughout beta. It's ironic really, the devs ignored any tester suggestions on content throughout beta but the one thing they only wanted testers for, for stress-testing the servers, they still failed at, lol.

yep, hardcore server crash after 5 minutes.

What do you expect. 27 minutes ago 250K+ people started spamming  the 'Connect' buttons. Those who realized the servers were bottle-necked (or down) then hit the forums hard.

You can get to the Allods site but the forums are under siege.

 EU reports of being overwhelmed. Open beta meltdown.

I am sure it was expected on the part of the server admins. They will bring the servers up slowly and start allowing blocks of IPs in (most likely).

Now everyone go away until I log on. Then get in line....

It's not really an official launch. Besides, it's not the first time a game went live and there were issues.

Don't expect much from a F2P, you're not paying a dime to play (well up to you if you want to use the shop).

 if were getting technical this isn't launch. It's open beta with no wipe. Official Launch is when open beta is officially over.

oh noes. Launch was delayed a whole 30minutes due to overwhelming demand on the servers! Worst launch ever! Allods is a failure! Disappointing game of the year! /sarcasm

Seriously? People need to grow the hell up. 

Launch? What launch? It's the beginning of Open Beta not the official launch.

 Open beta well and truly tested. Conclusion: buy more capable servers and bandwidth next time. Congratulations to all those who contributed to the open beta server test.

Guess I'll watch some anime and eat a breakfast burrito while waiting for the servers to come back up.

 This doesn't happen everytime a popular game launches it's OB. Only happens when the poorly planned games launch in OB. The devs had every indication of this problem coming, because through every phase of CB they had server issues with more players being added. 

Well at least this thread gave me a heads up that the game is going to be filled with self entitled crybabies who apparently are also experts at MMO development.
