As I foretold in My Halloween Rodo Report ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03RuOxkBTLU ) as a rumor has come true. Since it is Clone Wars, which we all know is on Cartoon Network ( Well I know because I have a 10 year old son... I find the girl jedi apprentice highly annoying) I am sure that SOE will Market directly to that segment during that show..Heck, I would too if I were them but knowing what I know will only make me more annoyed with them then I am with "Snips". |

I checked earlier, and it was there. Checked again just now, and it's gone. Plus the thread on the O-board about it just got locked. Cat out of the bag SOE. WTG. |

Gotta wonder if the industry can support 3 Star Wars MMO's. |

This would explain why soe pulled silius from vanguard for a few months and delayed expansions, etc. They must have needed to get people working on this if it is true. Not that I am surprised soe is hacking and rushing yet another game to market. I predict more of the same. |

If I had a Station pass I would be requesting my Clone Wars access immediately as it was listed there as part of the station access plan ;) People could care or not but that was a blatant false advertisement of station pass contents. |

soe's clone wars mmo will cater to all their "expanded target market" they failed to conquer with the nge.

The latest standard is hype it, launch it, make your money in a couple months, then make a new one. Just look at STO, AOC and the others, theyre making money on box sales then moving on. And ya its getting cheaper and faster to put these out with all the tools they have now. If you can afford the engine license which can run about 30k a month, you could churn out a new mmo every two years with one production staff. |

SOE seems to be trying to remind people they're still around in any way possible, giving away game time (months worth) to compete with STO. Now this, why would they put it there in this manner in the first place, if they didn't want people to see it? They seem to be trying to build up hype and nothing more IMO. They're using an "accident" or "slip up" as an excuse for doing so it seems, its hilarious..

I actually find it kind of strange this leak story hasn't been picked up by any of my preferred game news sites. Gag order? Or just not interested? Even this site doesn't have an opinion? |

I seem to remember hearing about this ages ago. Isn't it supposed to be a kiddy game aimed at the Clone wars fans? MMO wish list: -Changeable worlds |

Who did wrong? The advertiser hired to sell the game or the consumer who put faith in advertising? |

Well, it will definitely be better than SWG currently is, as it would take a dev team with much more talent than anyone at SOE has to make something worse, so the Clone Wars game has that going for it. I wonder if they will try to use the free with RMT that failed with Free Realms, or if they will use the play a couple levels for free but pay to advance any further plus RMT that they now use with Free Realms?

Hate to agree to something this...odd, but there's no way I think it was an accident either. As you said, it's during the free month and it's on the page you actually subscribe to, there's no way it was an oversight lol. I'm not going to claim to know WHY they let it slip, but your "we're still here guys" is as good of a theory as I've heard. God knows SoE could use some positive press...this could be a way to shut up all the ToR fans and get some people talking about an MMO set it a more "familiar" time frame. To those saying "it's a kids game", guys, 8 million people play Free Realms (or I should say, have signed up) - EIGHT MILLION. It may be a basic/casual game, but it's not just a kids game - I know plenty of adults that tried Free Realms too (though none will ever admit it). Think of a NEW Star Wars MMO set in the Clone Wars era. If a no name goofy MMO like Free Realms can get 8million subscribers, imagine the draw Star Wars would have. This is why SWG is so neglected. SWG will never have 8 million subscribers...EVER! Who here wouldn't try it for free? I will. |

Sorry but i smell a photo shop on this. I just pulled up my station account and nothing new in it, with the exception of 30 days free swg time. So I am calling bogus photoshop. All I see in MMO is EQ, EQ2, Pirates, planetside, SWG, Matrix, and Vangaurd. I checked the strategy card games its not their either. |
