Most of my buddies belong to two local scottish rite lodges. My daddy was a Knight of Pythias (a mostly Jewish Lodge back when they were more segregated). However I have many friends who are also Rosicrucians and also quite a few who belong to a few various Golden Dawn/Thelema Offshoots. me, I'm not tha joining kind -- a bit too independent to bow the knee to anyone but the Lord. That's where the name Fishermage comes in (that and I really do love fishing). Years ago when I discovered the heavens and angels fall down at His feet, I figured, what the heck, and my face hit the ground before Lord Jesus. I myself was an Elder of a Magickal Circle for many years -- this is long before becoming a Christian. Now I no longer really practice the stuff but act as a consultant and facilitator for people with ummm magickal issues lol. I also run a monthly discussion group about such stuff :) Some of my friends jokingly refer to me as Jim Dresden or Fox Mulder, depending on the context ;)

Interesting. "The great thing about human language is that it prevents us from sticking to the matter at hand." |

that is indeed interesting. So would you comply that freemasons do practice the occult in higher degrees? |

Strictly speaking, yes. A lot depends on the lodge though, and one's definition of "occult." If you mean secret rituals with symbolic meaning, yes. If you mean real High Magick -- nah. They do puppy chow :) |

Psh lost an argument? Hardly. I didn't want to deal with your condescending bullshit. You're rather arrogant and anyone younger than you doesn't have the "right" point of view, so you belittle them. Your tactics are rather mundane and that's why I choose not to speak with you. You say a lot but prove virtually none of what you say.
You also like one of the shittiest movies in history. Star Wars completely ruined the 70's by clearly defining good and evil when many other 70's movies did a wonderful job or creating good cinema were the lines weren't clearly defined. Of course you would like this because it fits well into your ideology of the world: that there is only one good side, the rest are evil. You're a fucking dumbass and I never say I hate anyone who I come across on the boards, but you're getting there. |

Hmm just like every thread you come in and start bawling over socialism, communism and about losing freedoms. Yeah, you use all these words at least once in almost all your posts. Lets not forget Christ and finding his love. Yeah, yeah. You say I hijack your threads? Ha! You're the biggest hijacker of them all. I'm not intimidated by you old man. You can live in your little confines, upset that your life has unfolded as you probably would of thought. I'm the one with the clear head, discovering new perspectives and ideas. Not shutting myself off. |

It's funny you say that you get belittled when you do the exact same thing lol. Ignorance is bliss. |

But you see, you are attacking me for doing what we are supposed to do here -- argue over politics. I beat you so many times now you are butthurt, YOU take it all so personally that you specifically jump into threads just to attack me because you don't like me. Seems like you are just a frightened little butthurt boy :) |

Have any of you actually read the book? http://www.amazon.ca/gp/search?index=books&linkCode=qs&keywords=1599868431 Read the book, understand when it was written, and then discuss it. |

Yes but it doesn't involve building a death star to bring the world under a global unification. That's always a big minus. |

I'm attacking you because your general demeanor as a person irritates me. You never concede a point and are very close-minded on certain issues. It's rather entertaining yet sad most of the time. You deem those that haven't had "experience" as lacking any knowledge. Which is rather hilarious. |

You are attacking because you are a nasty little boy and a sore loser. To you, not backing down means stalking and trolling and making unprovoked attacks :) I have conceded many points when someone actually can BEST me in an argument or provide me with better information -- then, I benefit by being closer to the truth. Yes you, when you are bested, have resorted to trolling and making unprovoked attacks whenever I post. Poor little Xanphia just can't take being beaten and or/proven wrong or ignorant. And no, I deem those who have little knowledge as having little knowledge. Experience is merely one of the ways of obtaining knowledge. You, however lack both -- and your insecurity shows every time you troll and make personal attacks just for the sake of doing so, you nasty little sore loser. |

Which is why you like arguing them. Same with religion. You muddy the arguments and call draws as wins. |
