My favorite thing about Warcraft was Blackrock Depths. That was one of the most amazing dungeons I've crawled through in an MMO. The visuals were great, the dungeon was expansive and had the feel of a giant maze, just like a dungeon should be. The story behind Blackrock Depths was well done and it was really fun to play though, even if it did sometimes take 10hours to do. I'm currently playing single player games until Mortal Online comes out. I have a thing for fantasy sandbox games. |

I liked how the game ran well on almost every system even crappy ones and still ran well and looked great. I was always a fan of blizzards style of cartoonish animation and really liked the look of WOW.

I'm trying really hard to think of even one good feature in WoW. I would have said Dungeons if CC wasn't phased out of the game or maybe BGs if arena didnt make them worthless. Shit........ Sorry dude. As for the game I play I've officially joined the "Hate all MMOs except Eve online" fanclub. Favorite genre would be Sci-fi sandbox I guess.
Edit: It's pissing me off that I can't answer your question. Its just WoW is a totally different game now then it was during Pre BC. Everything I enjoyed in WoW has been altered and made worse (for me). Almost feels like Blizzard pulled a NGE on me.

I am weird. Unlike most other people who dislike WoW, I like the gear grind. Or rather, I like the ability to find all this extremely rare/valuable/powerful items completely by chance. This is also why I loved Diablo and more recently Borderlands. I love having a randopm chance to find this great gear that is extremely hard to get completely by chance and out of the blue. It's a thrill. I feel pride in running around in a piece of gear that might last me another 5 levels. It's a great feeling. Unfortunately most of this is in the end-game in WoW and I can't get to it very easily. It's too tedious to get to the really fun parts. That's what disappoints me. But finding gear is great, when you can. I think there should be more dropped loot in games. I like it. That's me.
Right now my favorite MMO is probably City of Heros. But the one I play most often is Eve. I also think Sci-Fi/Sandbox is my favorite genre. But that's just cause I like the look of most sci-fi stuff. |

Gear doesn't work that way anymore. Most gear comes off vendors that you use tokens to buy and noone is ever surprised by a drop since everyone knows in full detail the loot table of every raid/dungeon boss. In WoW you look up the gear you want and you farm that specific content until you get it. No surpises. No WOW! factor on anything. I agree Diablo was awesome though :) PLaying: EvE, Ryzom Waiting For: Earthrise, Perpetuum |

I'm like you, its very hard to come up with a favorite part of WoW now. The WoW then I did have one favorite, and that was the dungeons - back in the day. I used to love being the hunter puller for the dungeon run, back when that was a viable tactic. You know, the one that set the traps, marked the main target, set the pet on the off tank mob, kited the 2nd off tank mob and fed the team each mob one at a time until you had them all down. Ah but then again that was old school WoW - now its all tank and spank AoE DPS - who cares for CC and tactics to make it thru a dungeon anymore. It was great back then when sheep, imp sap, and imp traps actually had a purpose. My current games are CoH/CoV - FE - LOTRO. Don't have a genre - anything that lets me play 'my style' is all I care about. I don't know.. unsubscribing or selling my account. One of those is my favorite part. Honestly, playing pre-1.9 Paladin and the fact that the game was still an MMORPG back then, was my favorite part. |

1) Barbers 2) Many mount/flyer selections 3) A big ass world to roam 4) BLOOD ELVES 5) Upcoming races; goblins/worgens.. C'mon! Im lookin forward to that. 6) Achievements 7) Able to run this game on any kind of machines is a plus. 8) Blizzard. For the fact that they come up with so much ideas, add events, promotions, and still makes the game successful after all these years. :) |

Favorite thing about WoW, also what kept me playing for so long (I'm still subbed), is healing mechanics. I love healing in the game, with every class, although 95% of the time I played a pally healer. I even developed a slight reputation even on my server, as a good healer, which in turn allowed me to get in groups as soon as I would log in. I'm taking a slight break now but I'll be sure to come back in time for new LFG system. WTB Shadowbane 2 |

My favorite thing about wow is the non instanced, seamless zones. I hate when new games have to partition their world. Less loading screens means more playing. |

The only thing I liked about WoW was the level of UI customization available. |

"Pre-BC"...sigh, do you people even know what this means or you just copy each other like every WoW hater on this forum? Do you even know how many great features BC brought? Do you even know what a large part of the game was very frustrating(no, not hard, just annoying) in vanilla, how many bugs it had? |

Favorite of all time = TM/SS battles. Favorite currently = Ganking lowbies. I know WoW takes alot of flak for having most of its "important'' PvP done in instances, but the game really does have alot of potential for open World PvP. Most players don't participate because they are gear focused and there are few gear rewards for World PvP. I'm glad there aren't alot of gear rewards, but I do wish more players would participate. |

For me it is the multiple options of things to do when I log in. If I want to level, raid, craft, farm materials, PVP, or just chat with friends I can. I enjoy crafting the most. I can log in and set out to get materials for what ever I am interested in. |

Bleh, your rewards are shallow and material. Your boss fights are difficult only for the sake of being difficult. Some people don't like to jump through hoops every 10 seconds just to win a fight. I like the big old mindless raids better because they were more about being social than being an elite action player. BC can suck a fart out of my ass. |
