Maybe just maybe if NCSoft did something about it, the threads would stop. It's hard for me to Stomach the botting because OMFG theres so much of it. Much like the hacks in Darkfall at launch it is a game ruiner for me. Open world PvP ftw though... Bots only work in carebear environments like AION where you have "Safe" zones. Before anyone goes on a "Theres Rifts!"... OMFG!!! REALLY! Once every 2 hours someone may or may not kill a few of the bots before they get zerged.

Another "go play something else" post. Thanks for that contribution.

I think every player who quits a game should post the reasons why they are doing so. It warns potential customers, and might enlighten someone at the company responsible (hey, it could happen).

I don't care about people buying gold, so much as how people are allowed to advertise gold for sale, all over the place. As for bots, I have to admit, its crazy. In some places, it looks like there are more bots than real players.

Best PvP I've seen since DAOC, though.

Quite a few actually, others not. I'd have to say 50% of the players I've known since launch still log on regularly. The rest? some have quit, others have rerolled etc. normal fair really.

On Europe there are at least 6 full servers at prime-time.

4. How does it come that on both amazon.com and amazon.co.uk Aion is even OUT of the top 30 in PC(?!?!? sic) sales. So growth is ... NILL.

Um so you expected sales to keep growing even after the initial surge of players buying boxes? riiiiight.

This game is a "farce" (like the OP said)  because it was simply created by a Korean investment group to get western subscription money.

So here's where all your hate comes from!

In reality it is hardly a game (size wise, Pve and PvP wise, botting/gold industry wise and new mechanics wise).

Actually, for a 7 week old game to not show up in the top 30 of PC(sic !) games on both amazon.com and amazon.co.uk is very bad. And that's controllable.

Just like its 65% drop in the highest weekend play. From Oct 1st to last weekend. 

Actually I was with a friend yesterday and he logged in at 09.30 PM on a sunday and ALL realms (except 2) were on recommended status.

For the 10 channels/instances.: only one was used while he played a new character.

BTW He just logged in to show me the status of the game. He cancelled his sub too. What a surprise.

The only noticible thing I witnessed was the apalling female screaming of his character. It was like watching an old Korean Karate C movie, but without the movie part of course.

You fire off statistics and figures that are all quite pointless and say nothing about the true standing of the game.  I had no idea everyone in the entire European and North American markets only shop at Amazon, for example.

Stop coming to the Aion forums if all you are going to do is be this negative, unhelpful, untruthful troll.

I don't know the status of the US servers, just saying that there are more than 2 full servers at prime time in EU. Don't generalize and lie that "only 2 servers on EACH continent are on high".

The second lie. How many times do I have to tell you: There is ALWAYS 10 channels to choose from regardless of the population number. It's simply NOT possible to see a single instance, so either you're lying and making things up or you weren't concentrating enough to notice the other 9 channels.

Comparing MMOs with normal games is not very clever. Comparing MMOs with FREE downloadable games is even stupider. Have you ever seen what's in this top 30 list of yours? there are even stuff like a razer mouse and Kasperski AV. How can you base anything off such a list?

The best selling PC games list on www.amazon.com is NOT made for measuring sales. Like Xfire, it doesn't tell the whole story (not even half of it as far as I'm concerned). I wish you stopped posting these so called "facts".

For the record, I might not even resub this month either. There are some issues that make me sick, but since Aion's launch, you haven't touched on a single issue the game has, just trolling and basing information on wrong/skewed facts.

he never will. Also just resubbed and rerolled asmo very happy. The gold spam is basically gone and no bots from levels 1-25 which is good.

 I really cant understand why you ppl still give credit to this guys. Not even gonna mention Zorn, because we all know him.

The fact is Aion still is, and will continue to be, the 2nd most played MMORPG, period. If this is not a victory then i dont know what is.

People like that just hate it because Aion is still doing well despite their predictions of loosing massive amounts of subs , which i have yet to see. Granted the bots are the biggest thing to deal with but they are doing something, slowly but they are banning them as fast as they can at the moment.

People just assume there are hundreds of GM that sit around doing nothing about the bots. There might be a total of 10 for the 20 or so US servers. Your not gonna see massive banning. Your gonna see slow buildup like we have. It is no where near as bad as it was a month ago.
