In this thread i want to hear what small and inconsequential feature of an MMO is a huge negative for you in a game.

For me if i cant have a first and last name in an MMO its a huge negative to me.

If i can put my mount in my pocket its a huge negative to me.

And people need to understand that games are for fun and if a feature annoys you enough to not play a game no matter how small it is that is OK. All these posts about Facts and rationality about games is ridiculous and i thought this post would be a good change of pace.

Limited letters for a name,i can see maybe a limit of 15 but often i see 6/7.

No key mapping.No working doors on buildings really miffs me.That alone tells me right off the bat how cheap the development was,speed over quality.

NPC's that stand static 24/7,never move,never blink,never change anything but that said quest.

lag kills ,example you enter a zone line and die after exiting the other side.

Quest mobs dropping high end loot is a big fail that irks me.You know right away that the loot alone will attract 24/7 camping,so players that need the quest,won't be able to do it.

BOSS mobs having 1-2 spawn points,bothers me .Boss spawns on timers is dumb.

games that give you useful skills/spells,then make the only mobs that you need to use them on,immune to their effects,that really tees me off.

mobs that drop 1-5 gil...ahem FFXI,what the hell am i suppose to do with 5 gil in FFXI?Buy a Saruta orange or a Windhurst tea leave? lmao 

Upgrades on gear like 0.3>0.4 wtf? why even bother with the stupid decimal place upgrade?Ahem AOC.

You see a building that you SHOULD be able to enter,but the lights ONLY turn on after you talk to a certain NPC.What that NPC has wires hooked up internally to that building?As soon as you talk to that NPC,the hydro bill gets paid and the lights come on?lol AOC.

Dailies.OK that NPC wants 15 bear hides.Go back 10 more times in a row ,guess what he still wants 15 bear hides lmao,you kidding me?by this time,you'd think he would ask for any amount,just bring them and i pay you.Or change it up,i have enough bear hides after the 500 you sold me,now i need bear claws or IDK leopard skins.

I am sure there is many more,but i am hungry so i can't think when i'm hungry lmao.

I guess the many pet peeves are like watching a movie with a terrible script or terrible acting.I have actually turned off  many a movie just from stupid srcipts or horrible acting.Show me some real stupid ideas in a game and i get pissed.

I hate how mobs are tethered to certain locations.  In some cases they have invisible leashes and keep bouncing back.  Other games they run back to their spawn and ignore everything inbetween and they magically regenerate health, while other games will have the mob disappear and reset at spawn.

 Not being able to play anything in terms of a rogue or a thief. I love my swift, dual-wielding, small-build character. =D
