A bunch of them are playing Aion right now but I don't feel the urge to join them. I figure I'd let them get their jollies out and a few of them are already getting tired of it. There's about 3-4 of them that I play with and generally we get together every week and play something for a while. However none of us expect the others to come running when we try another game of our own choosing or hound them when they play nothing like I do. I'm too busy with work anyways and see nothing that grabs my attention at the moment... except maybe Borderlands but that's not an mmo. No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga- |

I'm not at the moment (except with my husband) but I have in the past. It's really great fun to play with personal friends. I've also been playing MMOs with the same guild for about six years or so. |

Trick question, MMO players don't have real friends. "World of Warcraft is the perfect implementation of this genre." - Hilmar Petursson. CEO of CCP. |

I used to but my RL friends would switch games every week while I like to stick with a game...and now I don't have any RL friends so the answer is no. ^^ Make games you want to play. |

I became RL friends with people I met in an SG in CoH. There was 5 of us who became rather close, and although we live in separate parts of the country, we get together when we can. We now play LotRO together and are having fun, since CO let us down immensely.
My hubby, however, plays WoW with friends that he has known forever. They are all in the same guild and often team to do quests and raids together. I would play with them as well, but they are on a PvP server =( |

Closest was playing a mud with some hot girl I met and shocked to see her sitting at the pc mudding, thought she was checking email or something. Then next time would have been for PSO:BB but my pc at the time couldn't handle the game so was left out while a group of friends all played. Now I could play with some RL friends if I wanted to pay to play WOW but usually get bored after 1 or 2 months of playing it. |
