And man, I hate how ranged classes on this game are actually superior than melee. I mean, it just isn't right that I have to struggle to kill someone who's main role is to deal ranged damage. I'm supposed to be able to pick melee and destroy everyone with stuns and massive damage, right? Aion is terrible, I cancelled and made threads on 8 accounts about how much it sucks, because man it just sucks. Anything I don't like sucks.

And whats left to say about how much Age of Conan sucks? I mean, why'd they bother to even try? Clearly everything in that game should have been 100% done and polished from day one. I mean, look at how hard it sucks. All those graphics, and that award winning music, it wasn't for me, so it truly sucks more than any of the others. What an awful game, right? I mean, to think in this day and age someone releases a game and the things on the box aren't in the game, well, man, I'm here to tell you. It's just -time- to get a crucifix and some nails, because those stupid people at Funcom just SUCK so much. I mean. I know so much more about game design than they do, so their game sucks, and I cancelled that too, and I rule.

Really, I guess I suck the most. I go on MMORPG.com's forums, and since I'm bored, I make pointless threads about how these games all suck, and none of them will ever be as awesome as that MMO in my head! Or WoW! Or whatever MMO I play when Im not bashing other ones! Yeah! But, I suck. So maybe someone should make a thread about me, bashing me relentlessly and pointlessly, while not knowing how hard it is to make these awesome threads.

Very nice post man...Your sarcastic post sums up the "I don't like it so it really has to suck" mentality of 80+ percent of the thread starters on this forum...Should be mandatory reading.

Here's my philosophy on it, granted it's not my idea... but I totally agree on who said it and where it came from.

My original post was satire. I've been reading these forums for a long long time, and rarely, if ever, post. And after reading the 'Why Eve sucks' thread, it just made me want to express how stupid I think people truly sound.

Which, I know alot of you got. But for those of you who didn't, I'm sorry that I 'bashed' any MMOs you like. I was just making fun of some people.

And the funny thing is, I have in fact, played all the MMOs I mentioned at one point or another, and seen the threads and threads and threads of crap people write.

No game is perfect. Noone is perfect. You should think about that before you run your mouth about what someone is passionate about and does for a living. I question the reasoning behind some of these companies actions, and I wish they'd drastically change their philosophies on MMO design, but seriously, noone cares if you hate Eve Online, or WAR, or WoW, or Aion. If you wanna bring it down so bad, just cancel, don't pay them a dime, and move on.

Make threads, and post in threads, with articulated thought. Please. Enough with the 'fanboi vs troll', 'theme park vs sandbox'. None of it exists, its just the stupid MMO culture from a stupid forum.

I think I found part of your problem.   Computer components are very cheap now.   My 9 year old computer doesn't run the new games very well and I went out and bought a new one for 3/4 the price I payed for the old one, and it is far above any of the reccommended requirements of todays games......

As for everyone who at least got the point in OP's post, glad to know there is hope somewhere on the internet (ok I'm overreacting but you probably know what I mean :þ ).

In all seriousness, it is extremely annoying to see people bash MMOs when it's actually their own fault for not gathering enough information and only believing the hype. Once they finally realise that what the "hype" told them was not entirely true, well those sheeps starts seeing red and will charge anything standing in their way. And if there's nothing in their way, well they will create some with the power of imagination because, let's be honest, they need to vent their anger somewhere.

I really don't understand why people would rather bash every good arguments about a game and put the word "suck" everywhere, attempting to force others to believe what they say IN THE NAME OF TRUE JUSTICE!!! Oh...my hero!

I understand if some things are just terrible, but when people acts like their life just ended is just.....c'mon......just move on. Do something else.

I remember reading somewhere a blogger who nicknamed this type of behavior "God's Syndrom". Basically was something like this: "I am the creator and thus, know the only truth in this world. Fouls who dares to challenge me are heretic."
