8. Those who do not troll are virtually muted players running all over town. You end up wondering why these people play MMO.
9. A vehicle based system with no physics. You may find yourself at 90°... you cannot fall off the ATV; you cannot jump ... Ohh speaking about jumping. Obviously the apocalyptic event must have altered the gravity. FE jumping is the worst I’ve ever had to see.
10. Last but not least, most of the successful people in this game are chip buyers or farmers...

Whats amazing is this guy is complaining about, is what everyone else on the FE forums is......and the same thing I wrote and you all shot me down.  Because no matter what we put up here about  FE....you jackasses are  gonna deny it and make fun of a new person to mmorpg with one thread for being a troller.  I truly think most of the people who reply against him without trying to argue what he has stated are 15 year olds with no jobs and no resposablity and no life.  We are only trying to hold companies to higher standards and save maybe, one person from wasting his/her money.

1. I agree the game looks somewhat dated, but not as bad as you make it sound.

2. I disagree, have you seen how far you travel, enter underground hideouts, enter buildings or what ever without a single load screen? except when dying.....Sure FE could look 10x better if they would make the whole game have instances or zones, but that's not what I would like, so yeah there needs to be some sacrifice somewhere and I don't mind it just the graphics.

3. I personaly have no complaints, atleast you got these options to have all sorts of tattoo's, I choose to use none but regardless it does have plenty of options to try and make your character unique, besides you still have the options to change things of yourself ingame.

4. Great isn't it? there is just so much you can do with the game solo, now imagine getting into the social game at some point where you indeed become a dedicated crafter and just keep it at that and give friends/guildy's or strangers a contract to get those items you require for your crafting.

5. Guess you missed out on reading some skill books?

6. Obvious bad for those who experiance that, so far myself a pretty low lvl (4) but havn't run into any quest yet that didn't work, but I am sure I might encounter one at some point.

I for one enjoy Fallen Earth for what its trying to do. I quit Aion and started playing Fallen Earth because, well, Aion just got boring.

I dont mind the graphics in a game, i could care less if i could swim. I love how u can cuztomize your character skills so its not all in a default "box".

Also, the almost daily updates is awesome, the CSR ingame is on a level i never seen before and the community (atleast ingame) is one of the friendliest ive seen.

I played beta and didn't like the game, I agree with the character models being a bit stiff, although on the other hand the world environment is rather good.
But the game itself is ok, if you can get past the character model graphic (which I couldn't).

This game is much better than any other AAA MMO published in the ast year, it is not for everyone, but it is far from being a BAD game.

I'm sorry, but what ever happened to the saying "Buyer Beware"? If you're really concerned about spending your hard earned money then do your own research, and form your own opinion on a product and THEN decide if it's worth it. And if it isn't, then oh well. No matter how hard you try and press your opinion as facts, you aren't getting your money back. Besides, if you want to save your money don't buy things like video games. Buy canned goods for the upcoming apocolypse, where FE becomes REAL LIFE! At least the apocolypse part does, not so much the clones.

The OP is just a troll, which was pretty obvious from the beginning... yet noone can seem to resist falling for his bait. Probably should just let this thread die a quick death at this point, as I'm sure we'll see many more troll threads start up.

Personally, I started testing FE back last November, almost a year ago now, 11/17/08. I watched FE grow, painfully over that time, and I must say for a while there I didn't think FE was going to turn into an MMOG that I would play, or anyone for that matter. I am happy to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how things turned out. I finally was able to subscribe before my trial ran out yesterday and I've been playing like a crazy person since then and loving every minute of it.

For the record I have a very mediocre rig and the game is perfectly playable for me so far. Yes there is lag in the cities, but I haven't run into any huge issues. The engine definitely needs some tweaking still, but considering how much the devs have done so far I know things will turn out fine.

No, I don't have the graphics turned up *all* the way... 8)

And next time you are about to make statements about facts. Dont have your subject opinion as a fact. That will not make your life easy outside the screen.

edit: and yeah. the game has bugs and the graphic is to brown for my taste, but damn I enjoy the game. Mostly becuse I dont have to play with some teenagers filled with suger and anger :) (Im not calling you that now, its just how I feel about most mmo communitys)

And WoW and other games dont have bugs most of what you say isnt even close to true lol. I remember back when I use to play WoW getting myself bugged out under Orgrimmar, on my druid and killing horde all day. I remember duping in WoW. I remember being out to bug out your states in WoW and 1 shot people. I remember people fly hacking in WoW. I remember my guild all creating trail accounts and downloading a custom patch, and going to gm island to kill a gm.

When 3.2 come out 10's of thousands of players couldnt patch there client.

There is a bug right now in WoW that allows you to disconnect people reading their mail.

As of now there are bugs to get into Acherus as a non DK.

There are still bugs that allow you to dupe.

There are still bugs that allow you to get under northrend and run around even kill people.

There are expolites that allow you to earn achievements while offline.

To the OP. You fail so bad at tring to make it sound like WoW and Lotro are bug and expolite free.

To be honest I don't know why people are making such a fuss over this game, with me seeing reviews like 'Fallen Earth is the new step forward', when it's not. It's just the same MMO with some post-apoc sprinkled over it.

Sure the fps-rpg merged style is a good concept, but it's just disguising the fact it's still based on Yahtzee's well-known analogy  "taking turns kicking eachother's shins until one falls over" which almost every MMORPG with a combat element has. There is very little "skill" involved unless you have a bad aim and miss so much that you have dealt no damage by the time your enemy has reached you. And "skill" is DEFINATELY not the same as "grind hours".

The crafting is mediocre at best, repetitive grinding and waiting at worst. While this game claims to have a 'player run economy', it falls short in making the crafting easy to do. Except for getting the materials, you just click a recipe, click Craft, and wait for half an hour until it's done. Very little player interaction. Combine this with crafting being an easy secondary option and there is no ned for an economy because everyone can craft their own stuff or buy it from vendors.

While I disagree with some of OP's points, some of them I agreed to. This game is definately level-based, not 'skill-based' as the developers claim. They also claim there are no 'classes', but the huge restriction you have with the AP system means you can only stick to one playstyle without sucking, effectively making you choose your 'class' halfway through the game.

And those who are thinking 'durr ur opinion is wrong, u probably havent played for more than 10 minutes', I'll let you know that I was in the closed and open beta, and stuck with the game for the most of 5 months. I didn't go as far as buying the game but looking at videos and reviews it's the same as it was in beta except less bugs.

While this is a good post-apoc MMORPG in its own right, the developers have tried to turn it into much more than it actually is, claiming it's a revolutionary skill-based sandbox, when it clearly is not. That's why I don't like this game, and that's why I hate it when companies abuse the words 'sandbox' and 'innovative' in advertising when they clearly don't know the meaning of it anymore.

This thread is an example why I will search for another side. This forum has become a paradise for those that whine about games they don't like. Honestly, you didn't like the game. That can happen. You payed money for it. I'm sorry to hear that, but you'll be more cautious next time.

Do it like everyone else who was disappointed. Search for a game you like. Instead of whining, annoying everyone else with your useless threads, use your time to play a game you like. I doubt you alone have the influence to completely destroy a game anyway.

You didn't try very hard then, stuff starts to look great by level 8.

Sorry, I suspect you only played for an hour and then quit, all signs point to personal failure.

1. Graphics arent dated, there not eye poping eather but better then most mmo's.

2.LOTRO and WoW have crapy graphics. The only reasion they look ok is cause there masked with a cartoon feel.

3.Character customization is one thing I will say is not that great.

4. Yes you can level as a crafter only would just take alot longer and you have way more then enof ap to max crafting and still max a combat skill, so why do crafting only.

5.FE never said it was a sandbox game now did they. NO they didnt look at there newest interview with Lee Hammock, he says it himself.
